It's a massive overpayment no matter how you spin it! Career high 37 points and he's not a big guy, without looking he looks like a PP specialist. - LeftCoaster
I think you are going to Sh1t yourself when you see what he brings in |

Very nice - VANTEL
I love it. Awesome term, awesome cap hit, brings an edge. Much better than Weber or Bart.
Now we need to clear up some cap before hammer comes back. I wonder who goes |

Oilers might give up Eberle for Vatanen . Young Dmen don't come cheap..
Bruins got a first and two seconds last year for Hamilton.
I found nd it surprising that people expect a first and a prospect for slow ass aging Hamhuis but find it steep to ask for Vatanen is high - VANTEL
It's true. I'm not sure Vatenen is actually got the kind of potential of someone like hamilton is more what I meant. |

Hamilton was 21 years old, just put up 42 points and he's 6'5" 210lbs, him and Vatanen aren't even in the same ballpark. |

He's not gonna bring back two 1sts!! Why do they want to trade him if he's so damn good? |

This signing makes me happy. The guy earned it. He has more heart than Edler and Weber combined |

Can't remember who it was trying to tell me Gaunce was a center, but I thought I'd share this as it is also a good article
http://www.sportsnet.ca/h...-prospect-report-january/ - neem55
It was me, or at least I was saying that he had been playing 1C in Utica for around a month due to injuries. Thanks for sharing the link, it was a good read. |

He out scored Edler last year and will do it again this year. In fact he is close to out scoring Edler and Tanev combined.
You have a PP that sucks but we will draft and find that player so we can fix it in five years.

Say we get a 1st for Hammer and a 2nd for Vrbata
We have Spares: 1st/2 2nd's and can make our 3rd available and if need be our 2nd. What do you offer for either Trouba, Dumba, or Vatanen, or Ceci? |

For a guy that touts size and grit you sure seem keen to move two potential top 6 forwards and a high pic for a skilled smurf. Subban will hopefully fill the PP role in a few years. We shouldn't trade any of our top prospects unless we are fleecing somebody |

Good signing, although still not sold he is an everyday guy. Great to have hard workers on the team tho. |

When Subban actually makes the NHL I will believe it. There is a difference between 5'8 and 5'11.

Yes, he has earned it and you need cheap hard working guys to fill in the 6-7 spot. He is a lot better than Stanton or Weber types and possibly Bart as well |

I'm not saying I wouldn't like to have him, but not at the price of a massive overpayment. You set the prospect pool back two years by giving what you offered. He's not worth that to me/ |
