Why are you demoting JV and Mccann?

JV and JM need to develop chemistry. There no way to do that with the current system. JM is not a 4th line C. Neither one of them are 4th line players. So having them on nucks and getting 4th line minutes is not productive. Have then in Utica and playing top line at over 18mins per game will boost their confidence and develop that chemistry. We need that secondary scoring line. JM is a shoot first center. JV is a physical bruiser that will create space and Shink is a shooter. Develop that line for future 2/3 line will have more value then keeping them in NHL.

Horvats points last year were gained on the 4th with Dorsett and Kenins. Why do JV and JM need to get chemistry together? Their development should not be based on the fact that they NEED to build chemistry as a pair?

So basically you want to have the exact same year next year as we are having this year.

Unless you can move Burr there is no one else that makes sense to move atm. And for D pairing, it does not matter what your take is on Edler and Tanev, it does not change the fact that they are our top paring. No team will take either of them for a top 2 from their team. This year UFA has Lovejoy and Benn available. Sign both for 2*2.

JV is still very green. Yes he hits but more often then not he is lost because he is too focused on hitting and not playing. He needs time. Remember, he is just a kid and any mistake in Vancouver the media will crush him. Goat medal? Power forwards take time to develop. We have time. This team is nowhere near ready to make the playoffs, let alone compete in it. So why not we use this time to develop him properly. Give him the 18+ mins and teach him the game the right way.

Beiga is a 27yo rookie that has not played 50 games yet in NHL. We are looking at penciling in a 27yo as the savior for our D. All I am saying that the sample size is too small to not take a run at someone like Jodie Benn or Lovejoy. I would prefer to get both and use Biega as 7. And call up Pedan as needed.

Let's be honest... 1/3 of a season from Prust is likely more NHL games than we would have ever seen from the player taken in the 5th round. Most never make it.

That 5th rounder removed a drug addict from the org...sure he could have been dumped in the minors but then he would be binging in front of the kids down there. They wanted him gone and the price was a 5th rounder. Prust was solid before the injury. Oh well move on, it's just a 5th
