Jon Scott did more to foster goodwill and generate positive publicity for the league this weekend then all the self absorbed stars did combined. The way he embraces this experience and shared it with the whole world, Bettman can get (frank)ed if he can't see what an over the top success it was to have the peoples champ participate . I had such a negative attitude about that guy for a long long time, and I was so wrong about him. He's all heart and character and I'd have him on my team anytime !

I'm really happy for John Scott, and I'm glad he had a good weekend. He definitely made the all star game more compelling. That said, I'd rather he play for a competitor than us.

Thank goodness that's over, didn't watch the last two matches, went to "The Finest Hour" instead (good movie), now we can get back to counting down to February 29th.

I'm sure John Scott is a real 'good guy', and he seems pretty smart, I'm sure he'll have a great career as a broadcaster or NHL GM when he retires from hockey. If I were an NHL player making $8 or $10m a season I'd be pretty embarrassed that Scott was the MVP. Just shows what a joke the game has become.
