Carr has done well in his time in the NHL, we'll see about Hudon. McCarron will likely make it, in what capacity is still pretty unclear. Scherbak has been knocked out almost all season so hard to say.

Its like the Habs didnt commit to the full rebuild awhile and are pay for it now. Price being amazing as he is made them look better than they are.

A "glass half full" guy would view Price's lost season as maybe a slap in the face to Bergevin, in which he realizes how fragile his roster appears to be. He has absolutely no excuse to believe the Habs are actually better than they are anymore.

Agreed, most Habs fans knew this team is all about Price but Habs management started to believe the are much better than they actually are. Hopefully big changes are coming

First change I would make is get rid of Bergevin... Unfortunately, he just got an extension!
2nd change would be out Plekanec... Unfortunately, Bergevin gave him an extension.
3rd change would be out Therrien... Unfortunately...

I know the habs have been the most successful Canadian team for the last couple years but price being out has really exposed them for what they really are. Biggest issue with them is price will keep them competitive for the next couple years keeping them away from the high end talent in the draft until price falls off where they'll be left with nothing. Pk and pacioretti will be past their prime and they'll have to start a rebuild which will take years if they're lucky enough to have someone at the helm to do a proper rebuild.

for this very reason - what is quite obviously desperation on the part of Bergevin, I'm sure other seasoned GMs are floating deals to Bergevin which offer quick fixes... which is exactly what Reimer would be - whether Bergevin takes one or two of those deals will tell you how much he believes in the current roster.
