Wilson is effective at being physical, but he's a possession nightmare on a very good team.

He's still young, so perhaps he will develop into a truly effective bottom 6 player like Matt Martin. But he's not there yet. |

He's developing into a Matt Martin as someone else said. That's an effective player. 15 pts this year |

I think he could be a Leo Karmarov type. Karmarov is having a really good shooting percentage but I think he could be that type of player.

No Couturier on ice today, either. Almost certain to miss Caps game, also per Bill |

Dare we call up Stolarz? - jmatchett383
I would, but im sure they'll pick the never was Labarbera because of experience and stuff. Im sure he'll change things maybe from a 4-2 L to a 4-1 L.
This is the perfect opportunity to see what the kid has. Not very often both guys are out. |

The PK has gone from "wow, they had a rough year" to "wow, they've had a rough 18 months".
If they aren't going to relieve Lappy of his duties, I'd like to see Hakstol take a stronger role with the PK. - johndewar
Yet I don't notice any real changes to try to improve it. |

Isn't Komarov a good two-way forward who can play in the top 6? |

Not sure I want him getting shelled by the Caps. No Couturier in the lineup and the Caps power play against the Flyers PK is a disaster waiting to happen. |

I don't know if they really can right now. To me they are way to passive. Not enough speed. I thought that was a great thing when they had Bellemare and Raffl on PK. They seemed quicker at pressuring the puck.
I really like guys like Calvert and Kamarov and when PItt used Brian Gibbons. Guys with speed that pressured the puck and caused problems on the opposition. |

I think he's moved around the lineup. He has a high shooting percentage this year. But he plays a physical game and can pop in offense. |

I don't think it's ideal, but I don't want the barber in, either. |

So with the talk last week that his jaw was the issue, safe to assume concussion? |

Relying on a report from Timmy P is never safe.
If it was a head injury why wouldn't the Flyers call it an upper body injury? |
