B. Schenn is tricky. He seems to play well with Couturier and I like how he was playing but......... SOmetimes is so inconsistent and disappears for stretches.
I am ok signing him to the right deal but also not against moving him if you got a younger player with upside.

Then... trade bait. - Tomahawk
I think $4 mil AAV is reasonable. I just have such issue with a long term contract with him. I might just prefer a bridge deal. I'm still not convinced he's a long term option.
Didn't see the game. Was Weal any good or is he weally just a borderline NHL/AHL player? - Streit2ThePoint

Didn't look out of place. I would rather see him and Laughton away from Umberger. A legit line like Read - Laughton - Weal would probably give a better showing.
Kind of like when Couturier was finally given wingers with skill.

Weal and Gudas appear to both use the same stupid looking stick I think. They look like silver toothpicks with black tape on the bottom. I can't stand them.
If the Flyers are drafting 6-10th, who would you take if the draft was today? - Marc D
Assuming Tkatchuk is gone? I think you go with Alex Nylander, Michael McLeod or Julien Gauthier. Truthfully I'd like to see them grab another first rounder...even if that means moving back and giving up a 2nd rounder. Preferably a trade for Streit, Del Zotto, or even Read. This draft has some depth and Max Jones looks like he's made to be in Black and Orange...think a better Lawson Crouse. Keiffer Bellows, Tyson Jost and Tyler Benson are all intriguing prospects that could help the Flyers out. I also wouldn't mind seeing them grab a right handed D man with one of their second rounders, Charles McAvoy would be an awesome addition to the blueline Hexy is building.
