Every year more and more getting older does that.

I am not a fan of Mccann on the fourth. I can't see it just keep going on and on like that.

Agreed mostly, but I think he and Gaunce could build chemistry until it is time to trade Vey and Mcann Steps in as 3rd line and Cassels is rdy for 4th line. I think Vey can be worth more than we paid for him after 1 more full season.

Maybe. ....not sure I'd agree to that just yet. But McCann will be a far better player in the not so distant future

Pedan played better than half of our D man, he should be Bottom pairing at the very least IMO.

Thats why I say after 1 more full season. Vey is a stop gap for the youth, always has been IMO. He was meant to hold the position until he became redundant, and unless the twins retire early, I don't see a spot for him in 2 years.

Will he get a chance to prove it.

Veys first trip here he played with scrubs. It made him look terrible. Mccann is playing with scrubs and I think it hurts his confidence.

Today Vey is ahead of JM . He is also playing with better linemates. It will be hard for JM to pass him playing with Prust and Cracknel.

I agree, but Sbisa is JB's guy and I think Biega needs to be a regular next season.

Hence next season give him a better player in Gaunce and swap between Dorsett/Grenier. Only reason why I say to keep Dorsett at this time is because we do not yet know if Grenier will translate well to NHL.

This is why I have a problem with WD. He is constantly playing the wrong players with each other. Very questionable.

Then Benning is useless as a GM. Whenever someone better shows up, you trade the lesser. Skill wise I don't foresee Grenier being much, if at all, of an upgrade on Dorsett. But his size will be...big time.

I am not sure if it is a stop gap or a gap. Not really anyone special ready to step in.

There is a chance we finish bottom 5 and get a NHL ready forward this year .

Might be a good idea to start developing McCann as a winger if we want to get him off the 4th line. He is too talented to be playing with those scrubs.

I'm giving Benning until Mid-july before I make my final judgment. He has had good points and bad. I'm not ready to say he is useless. He has brought on change thats what we all wanted.
