Personally I hope they stay as far away from him as Winnipeg is to Vancouver, even on a short term...there's not enough gourmet hotdogs and condiments at the arena to satisfy that fat (frank)er for 20mins let alone 60mins
- Makita

As I said I don't want him, and I hope they stay clear of him too, but......

He would be Canucks best Dman . The idea is to improve the D. I just can't get around how Buff could help the Canucks more than 3 years.

I haven't missed a game in years and every day am on hear talking about them , good or bad. I want the high draft pick. I know I am a huge fan and as you say sometimes it is better for the team.

This new group management got here 4 years too late. This should have been started in 2012 after the playoffs. Now they are in desperation mode.

I agree. You and I are more of a fan than anyone on here.

has anyone congratulated the Oiler's Fans on finally getting the backup goalie they've been desperately looking for?

He makes 6 shmill, what do you expect? I dont like it but his pay check decides it all.
- vancity787

Don't mind it at all. Run them as a tandem like they did when Cory started taking Bobbys starts from him.

People seem to think that miller has played poorly this year, he hasn't, and markstrom hasn't been lights out.

The truth is that they have both been providing above average goaltending and is like to see that continue.

Those members that wasn't too unload miller need to realize that he needs to play to be worth anything.

I don't think Miller has been bad, I do think you are getting the same quality of goaltending from a guy who is 4.5 mil cheaper. That's the only complaint

I can understand if a GM doesn't look at him as the most desirable impact dman available, but being an impact dman and availability might trump how well liked the player is... if he was more consistent, he'd be elite and already locked up with an extension.

If we end up moving Burrows and Vrbata, we can overpay a little on Buff.

If we signed both Buf and Lucic in the offseason, the locker room will be turned on its ear.

I love the smell of the garden in the morning.

Same thing they did to Broncos in Super Bowl.

Bad play calling and poor defence.
Wilson needs to step up on this next series.

Big buf would be the guy to over pay on.... averages 24min of TOI. that would mean less time that our 3rd D pairing would be on the ice.

Fields not in great shape but it has zero to do with them being down 14, they're just playing like poop.

Buff will sign his last contact this year. Whoever signs him will have a huge anchor, both speed and cap wise in 2 years.

Do you honestly believe buff will not get big term and big dollar and big bellied?

the guy has been fat his whole career.... and still puts up over 50pts or seasons on pace to be over 50pts. And he can absolutely crush guys. i'd sign him to whatever he wants.

having a guy like him patrolling the back line would make life a lot easier for a lot of our young prospects like Horvat, Virtanen, McCann, etc etc. Just look at the affect Chara has.... the whole Bruins team players a lot bigger than they should because they have Chara backing them.
