My hope this season was to see them make strides and become a better team, especially at ES. It's been encouraging after that lull in November, and even in games they have lost they have competed.

They have work to do, but I want to see strides towards the goal. The Bruins game was a big stride. Today was a smaller one. But it's a step forward. That's what is important now

If the playoffs happen, it's an unexpected cherry on top of the sundae to me.

Funny thing is I Don't hate anyone except maybe Donald Trump and his ilk but that's a discussion for another place.

If Weal was deaf, dumb, blind, and quadriplegic it would still be a good trade. I just got myself excited about him because he could have some real potential looking at his skill set and past yearly performances at every level. I want him to be a real steal.

New blog. Pp goal for Vinny. Here's how he's being used: he's been good on the faceoffs. So lots of those. And lots of pp time. Both of those are within his skill set. He's been as bad as imagined for them at evens, but they're so sound possession and defensive wise they can cover it up better. He's also clocking in the lowest es minutes on the team this game. They're using him the only way he can still be used. Good for Vinny, good for the Kings, good for the Flyers
