First, I was always under the impression Ron Burkle owned a higher percentage than Mario Lemieux. Second, if as the article states Mario owns 40% and Burkle owns 25%, what would stop Mario from saying screw you Mr. Burkle I am selling.

sutter for bonino fehr and a 2nd looked like a great trade. Sucks Fehr/Bonino haven't been as good as we hoped but still a huge win especially since we grabbed a 2nd.

I don't see how you can look at it without taking into account we got two players for the price of one. Now that Bonino is down, we still have a competent player to fill his spot. Frankly, I've been thinking Fehr should have been used at center for a couple of weeks.

Yep.

He's a 2nd/3rd line RW, not a center.

His best skill is his shot off the rush. Crazy not to maximize that.

You can call it what you want. We gave up a guy that we didn't want a second and a guy we knew wasn't an NHL player for Sutter and a third. We will take that trade 8 days a week.

I am still amazed at that. There is zero reason for the Penguins to ever lose to the Flyers at this stage of both teams' development.

I think you have an overinflated opinion of this team. They can't score at all and haven't been able to for over a year now. Until that changes, they will struggle against anyone, much less be playoff contenders.

Right Fehr! the 4th line work horse that has turned things around!

Fehr has been fine, but he is nothing special, every team has 2-3 of those types.

These players are the difference between winning and losing.

why?

Because they take the load off the stars so they do not have to carry ALL the load.

Unfortunately for Pittsburgh this season, those players have not scored to take that load off.

Possessionally they have, but actual goals, they have failed. Thus far.

Im still more interested in how this team is playing at games 72-82 as long as they are in a play off spot, and I think they will be.

I think you will be surprised how quick this young core is coming together. So much so we were able to say goodbye to an aging vet this week.
