Think they were saying the other ref had an unobstructed look, and conferred with the no goal ref. Either way, it was a goal, Hank never had it covered.

If it were the Rangers it would be "sorry but the whistle blew"

Basically from what I gather, the ref who called it no goal thought Hank covered it. The other ref saw that it wasnt covered and talked to the no goal ref. They went up to Toronto to see if Hank ever had it covered. If Hank covered it , I believe it would have been a no goal

I've never seen a goal waved off with authority get reversed just prior to a video review, you call it no goal then that's what it is, (frank)ing NHL is a joke just like the Glass hit being a penalty

It does at least that's what's been told to the Rangers every time, wasn't it MSL against Tampa last year with the puck loose in the crease?

Technically that isn't necessarily true. Refs are allowed to confer with each other to change a call. Does it usually happen, nope.

I think thats the key, the ref blew the whistle after the original shot was going in. If Hank had stopped that shot, the whistle blew and then another shot knocked it in, it would have been no goal.

Rangers are t going to sniff a goal this period, after tonight we'll be 1 point up on NJ, FML
