Did you even watch the game or did you just come here to write really long posts? If you watched the game you'd know the Marchand hit wasn't even the dirtiest play of the game, but he gets the games cause he has the rep, which he's earned.

Dear mods. This is a clear violation of the code and conduct as outlined by Eklund. This is the second time in two pages this individual has stepped over the line. I expect a much harsher penalty then that handed out to Marchand.

3. No foul language or vulgarity
This is a general audience website. This means the content should be appropriate for guests of all ages. We don’t want HockeyBuzz to show up on an unsafe site screen.

Steer clear of using any of George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can't Say on Television". The filter is there for a reason, if you change a word in order to foil the filter, you will get a timeout.

The moderators will decide what's out of line. But if it is not safe for work (NSFW), it is out of line.

6. Respect your fellow HockeyBuzzers
No name calling. And you’re not being clever if you say “any moron knows” or “only an idiot doesn’t understand.” You’re being disrespectful. Talk more about hockey and less about each other. Although playful banter is allowed, that does not mean anything goes, if the banter breaks any part of the code of conduct, it isn’t playful and it is not acceptable. When “Player X stinks" turns into "You stink" you've crossed the line. And yes, the Moderators decide where the line is.

LOL, Boston fans here are living up to the stereotypical bully. Act tough but are actually extremely sensitive. No matter how many time you say "LOOK AT OUR OWN TEAM, THEY HAVE DIRTY PLAYERS TOO!!!" or "THE OTHER TEAM HAD IT COMING, QUIT WHINING!!" it doesn't change the fact that Marchand has developed a reputation, which he has earned, as one of the dirtier players in the league. Now before you quit reading, spazz and reply with something along the lines "IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF OTHER TEAMS DIDN'T START IT, BOSTON RULES, F!!! YOU!" please take a minute to think about how often Marchand has been in the spotlight for crap like this. He's a good player and that is why he really is shooting himself in the foot by pulling stuff like this. If he wasn't so dirty I could see Team Canada taking a look at him even. He just can't control himself or he's just too selfish to give a damn. Hopefully a suspension will teach him a lesson, but if we use his history to form an opinion then it seems a suspension won't teach him. Something will have to give before someone gets fed up and gives him a taste of his own medicine and ends his career. For everyone's sake I hope he can clean up his game before that.

Well... you know best, So you must be an expert on all the things. I mean you are a part of the pantheon of knowledge and morality that is the Chicago fanbase.

I do agree about your points on Marchand though. He needs to change his game. Clipping and slew footing is as dangerous as it is garbage. But for the haters 20 games wouldn't be enough. So much terminal butt hurt out there. Looking at you Vancouver.
