Marchand may have done something dumb but the Sens were relentless in their dirt baggery last night. Elbows, running the goalie, dangerous hits from behind, Neil nutting McQuaid and eye gouging. But whatever that game was awesome.

As for the rest of you idiots in here pontificating about Marchand, (frank) off will ya. If you're going to single him out over last night you obviously didn't watch the game, or you're blind.

Wow, very dirty play by Marchand. That's the kind of crap that could end someone's career. Taking guys out at the knee is one of the dirtiest things you can do. Doesn't help Marchand that everyone knows he is a dirty player. Really need to remove this type of play from the game.

I did like how Neil was dropping punches while McQuaid is being held by the linesman.

Now before you quit reading, spazz and reply with something along the lines "IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF OTHER TEAMS DIDN'T START IT, BOSTON RULES, F!!! YOU!" please take a minute to think about how often Marchand has been in the spotlight for crap like this. He's a good player and that is why he really is shooting himself in the foot by pulling stuff like this. If he wasn't so dirty I could see Team Canada taking a look at him even. He just can't control himself or he's just too selfish to give a damn. Hopefully a suspension will teach him a lesson, but if we use his history to form an opinion then it seems a suspension won't teach him. Something will have to give before someone gets fed up and gives him a taste of his own medicine and ends his career. For everyone's sake I hope he can clean up his game before that.
