Thanks for the concern, but Jasek was actually cut yesterday (December 23rd) by the Czech team, and Demko is too old to play in the World Juniors, as I posted on a comment above.

Not only that this is HB. The Preds have no intentions of moving Jones and anyone who thinks it is possible is dreaming. Johansen for Jones, well that get interesting!

Interest or not they will have to. Weber is hard to move as what team wants to take on his 35-43 years at 7.5 cap hit?
Josi's 4mil contract is too good to trade.
They can't afford to keep Jones at 6-7mil. I doubt he signs for less. In the offseason they have roughyl 15 mil to spend. Forsberg will command 5-7 mill(likely around 6) and Jones 6-7mil(likely closer to 7). If they sign for anything less than Nashville gets a steal of a deal. Jones would then lose value as Nashville needs to trade him if they are to get that #1 centre to put them over the top.
I could be wrong on some points, but i see this as a most likely scenerio. Jones gets traded wither by TDL for an established #1 or on draft day before July 1 and the OS start rolling in. |

Sure, but IMO I'd take Tanev AND Chychrun over Jones any-day.

Hmm, I'd take Jones myself, although I don't know much about Chychrun. Jones leads the league in corsi for players who play 20 mins and more... some christmas eve stats. I hope all of you are in a borderline stupor as I am, happy festivus |
