Ya the o'sullivan was over. I don't think Tootoo was bad, unless there was racism mixed in which has been speculated on. I mean Kassian is going to hear about it when he gets back to the show you can be sure. Should all be settled on the ice IMO. O'sullivan and Tootoo can drop the mits and let him know how they feel, I think that's how the game has always worked its way out. That stuff shouldn't be brought up IMO, leave it on the ice. I'm sure there's a lot of tryig to get under eachother's skin out there, just leave it out there and if it goes too far settle it on the ice

i wonder the context as to when and why burrows made fun of Osullivan. I don't have a problem with it during the heat of the battle, but I don't recall any situation where this could have happened between the two of them.

I don't think anyone would argue who they would rather have, but only one of those guys is available. I would love to see Rj for tanev, Mccann or Bo and hopefully not a 1st but maybe prospect or 3rd. He's 23 and talented as they get, on top of that we can pay him in two years instead of this summer unlike Stamkos, so his contract is very nice. Learn for a year from Hank and then take the 1 center spot and get paid.

Or he could just not be as good as advertised. If indeed he's got heart issues, then his career longevity and ability to reach his ceiling is in question. The fact that he admits that he's out of shape (whether from a summer injury or not) and his play before Torts and during Torts shows that.

I would be very leery of giving up any assets for RJ, especially if it costs us Bo or more importantly McCann because if RJ doesn't pan out, now you're screwed. We simply don't have the assets to take a gamble on RJ at this point. I'd rather stay the course and deal with our horrible defense first and trade for a Harmonic or Bogosian than RJ.

We are not in a position to trade for any top flight talent.
Our hope lies in unearthing gems, drafting and unloading players for picks and then banking on local ufas wanting to sign with us (like hamhuis did).
