I think it is the massive haul that I doubt the most.
I'm not denying the Sedin's talent but I just don't think we see a big enough return to justify moving them.
If NSH is offering Ellis, Wilson and a 1st, I think I would rather watch them finish as Canucks. - belcherbd
Yes I agree with that offer they ain't getting Squat. Nothing to see move on. |

LeBrun: "I know already from talking to other teams that they intend on picking up the phone over the next couple of days...” 1/2
LeBrun: “... just to see what's going on, to see if there's an opportunity for them" w/ #CBJ on Ryan Johansen. 2/2
Trading Tanev would create big holes in our current defence, but would it really matter with the state of the team? - LeftCoaster

I agree completely. I can't say I like what he has said in this instance about O'Sullivan but I have no problem about him mocking Richards, Backes, etc.
What is fair ?
To be fair I can't stand Lucic because what he does, I feel is over the line so clearly it's objective. - belcherbd
Burrows is an idiot if he mocked O'sullivan regarding child abuse. Period. |

This is why I think the Sedins are so important right now. There's rookies struggling, and then there's rookies struggling with people who have gone through it to help them along.
Though I wouldn't mind seeing them moved in their last year of their deal (if they were cool with it) for a good return. |

Sedins will retire Canucks. Book it. Its fun to dream but it will never happen.

No denial, there and my comment isn't justifying his comments.
Rather saying that I had no problem with him mocking Richards and Backes, while I'm sure some would call that over the line.

Jones .
I think Nashville will have a no fly zone over Josi. I think they covet him more than Weber.
It would take brass balls the size of cannon balls but I would be ok with everything.
Then target Kopitar with Sedins Cap space - VANTEL
I agree they've got Josi signed to an unreal deal right now and IMO he's a Norris candidate over Weber. |

I agree with this is what's going down, but it's exactly the reason were not going to ever contend. Let the contract expire and they retire, great but does nothing for our future. The yare already getting their jersey's raised here, what's the difference really? Just trying to be classy... f that, winning is classy. |

They don't owe the team anything. They have done more for this team and community than anyone in the entire history of the Canucks and they have won that is class. |

I do agree, and do really love them as players and pro's. It's not about owing, it's about JB and TL biting the bullet and asking them to wave their NTC's.
edit: and I will really love to watch them get another crack at winning which they will not get in Vancouver IMO. Unless they resign after their contract runs out in Nashville for a year |

Not sure what Benning is thinking of course but it would be nice to see the Sedins get another shot. Move em for some picks in their final year and bring em back on one year deals to retire. I wouldn't put it past Benning. |

Good other than they should be switching Horvat/McCann.
Horvat needs Hansen in the worst way. Vrbata and baertchi ain't gonna create space for Bo. |

Why do it in the final year? If you're not doing it this year or next then forget about it |
