YOU HAD A 10 YEAR HEAD START.

Are you too stupid to see your team is horrible and so are the Canucks?

Your team is at least 7 years away from being good and so is ours . Move along , nothing to see here.

This is like two parents in a maternity ward saying my kids d1ck is bigger than yours.

Of course our team sucks. They are at the bottom of the standings. Where did I say otherwise. I'm happy with our prospects and the fact that management is doing things the right way. I don't buy that they are 7 years away from being good.

And I'm happy with the job that Babcock is doing. They play hard, play a much better game then they did last year and are in almost every game they play. Their record when the worst goalie in the league is not in net is not bad. And they'll still end up with a great pick.

Nylander is going to be very, very good. Kid is tearing up the AHL. We don't have much in the way of goalie prospects. Sparks looked ok in the few games he as up and was having a good year on the Marlies but I'm not convinced yet.

I agree he will be good, but not better. The only prospect i see that can be better is Marner. This ofc is only if his size doesn't cause him issues as many players his size have. Kane and Gaudreau are great examples of smaller players who excel in the NHL due to their speed and creativity, but there are more examples of smaller players who just can't do it at the NHL level.

You don't have a Toews Kane McJezus . You are 7 years away . Your goalie situation is a mess , your D is a mess, your forwards are a mess.

So you like the way your team is losing. Yeah handclap.

That koolaid in TO is pretty strong. At least out here we know we are in for painful years.

Look what Ehlers is doing and he has more talent than both combined. It takes time

I like the way Babcock has a team with very little talent playing and I like the fact that we have the best coach in the league to work the kids with talent into the system when they arrive over the next few years.

We know pain and for the first time in a long time can see better times ahead. You guys haven't even come close to bottoming out yet.

We don't have the defensive depth to lose Tanev at this time.

I can get on board with lost Edler as we have plenty of LFD and I think Hutton will surpass him next season. But after Tanev we don't have any RHD that cna take over. Weber needs to be in AHL or just off this team in general. Biega and Fedun can both be descent-good 6/7 dmen swapping in an out as needed.

BTW Vantel, if reports are correct on what Buff wants, we should stay clear of him. I'd be ok with 6x3 for him, but anything longer is a handicap.

Believe it or not, the record doesn't really show how close and entertaining some of the games have been. While no one in Toronto has dreams of playoffs, it's at least more enjoyable to watch than the past couple of seasons.

The Leafs, much like the Canucks, suffer from a lack of defensive prospects. That's my main concern about both teams.

He could start with 40 dollar tickets

I have actually heard that some lower bowl seats went for $40 is that true?

I think Nashville is his best destination. They have room and only have 2 high end contracts to resign. They resign Forsberg and trade Jones. Sign Stamkos and likely win the cup.

You are very happy with the job he has done ? You have 10 wins.

You can have the best coach in the world putting lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig

- VANTEL

Babcock is a very good coach but the long term situation in TO is the danger for him. He ran our practices in Junior when he was coaching locally for the RD College Kings here in Red Deer so I have a bit of an understanding of his potential as a coach. But I think it's more likely that TO is going to ruin Babcock as a coach more so than him bringing that team along.

I was told he's 100% signing in Toronto.

Based on his play this year, he wouldn't bring a cup anywhere.

That's too bad. Another excellent player to retire without a cup.

McCann not going to the worlds is a stupid decision. He should play there and then go back to the O. Send him down and call up gaunce and vey not like JM is gona be a saving grace and get this team in to the playoffs. Management has to think long term and that a rebuild is what needs to take place. Start by trading any or all of higgins, burrows, vrbata while still retaining half of their salary. Lets get the guys who have been playing well in utica some games.

We can't really let him go now that Hank is out with an injury. Hopefully they give him a shot to play with Danny for a bit, try to get his confidence up.

With all the injuries, we aren't making the playoffs, not sure if we are mathematically eliminated yet, but the writing is on the wall.

What is better for McCann? I'd say send him to the wjc and re-evaluate where he and the club is at after and make a decision. I'm on board with sending him back to jr.

When Henrik didn't finish the game last night I pretty much figured McCann wasn't going.
