i dont know why but every olympics i'm surprised at how bad the women are. probably comparable to 13-14 year old boys team in skill.

It's pretty bad. Don't notice it as much for the forwards except for the weak shooting but at defense it's insane there's no strength in the game.

US has speed though which Canada lacked tremendously on the back end.

Kind of a sham.

Americans skated circles around Canada in OT. Their superior speed was pretty evident when it was 4 on 4. If each of their forwards didn't try to skate through 5 people everytime they entered the zone and actually had a system set up offensively they would have dominated I think.

Pretty sure a Midget team here in Edmonton worked them 5-0 or something a few years back. Wickenheiser got into it with Phaneuf's younger brother lol.
