i was thinking that about the helmet but i don't know how to word a google search about them to see how this helmet design got started.

i think it was a pretty common design on the old leather helmets stolen from the college game.

the bears have a version of it, too. theirs is more of a stripe design, tho

in the whalers case. the blue/green was neato because nobody was doing it at the time but nothing could live up to the all green whalers uni.


besides, i really like the blue/green combo with the brighter blue. not that navy poop. the darker blue bothered me about the oilers too. they should be bright blue and bright orange
