I've seen a lot of goalies in the finals over the years. Doesn't mean that they're any better than some others that don't make the finals.

By your estimation, Bishop is better than Rinne because he's been the finals and Rinne hasn't. Don't get me wrong, Bishop is a good goalie, but I'd take Rinne before him if given the option.

Why should we be patient with players that are supposed to be in their prime.

If the rumor is true that he was fat and out of shape, and we moved a 1st for him, it falls on the GM

I wonder how this board would be treating Lehner if Darcy traded for him

Does this team still have room for improvement? Absolutely. But I think it's entirely too early to judge just exactly how many things need to be changed at this point as well.

I'd like a better option to pair with Risto. And like I said earlier, at this point, that option could very well be Pysyk, but we haven't seen it yet. There's going to be shuffling going on in general on the team for probably another month or two. This season is exactly what I expected so maybe that's why I'm not so upset by what I've seen so far.

I'm not saying it all has to do with it, but he wasn't allowed to do anything other than sit on a couch in a dark room for 3 months. That takes a toll on a professional athlete. You can't go from being really physically active to a couch potato and not have it be detrimental.

I am not back tracking, our current gm, was part of the decision to keep Lehner over Bishop with the sens

Bishop is also 5 years older and the Sens had Anderson under contact for a while. Can't just take a look at one small part of things and say a mistake was made. They did what they thought was best at the time. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Bishop also has a tendency to get injured at times that really matter most. Obviously it's a lot of bad luck, but you can't complain that Lehner is always injured but not bring up Bishop's injury history.
