But why conditioning? Its not like hes not in game shape?
With the apparent fighting in the team then they win convincingly last night and hes now sent off....makes you wonder if its "attitude conditioning assigned" which should be the real headline - SMBDragon
- sorry but your comment made me chuckle, the only way a 19 year old can play in the AHL is on what's called a conditioning assignment, or a European who's never played in the CHL. It's a loophole in the system.
Bo Horvat did it last year coming off his shoulder injury, it's a maximum of two weeks I believe?

Yup, If Virt was AHL eligible to start the season that's where he would have started. He was kept up because he needs to learn in the Pro's now, not the Juniors.
EDIT: Just saw your edit. I thought it was 7 games?

yes Im aware of the loophole....my point was that why send him away? Timing of the team doing better and him getting sent away seems too much of coincidence. So the joke was its an attitude conditioning assignment lol

To get him some minutes and confidence. The team was winning at the beginning of the year with him.

They're sending him to Utica because they can.
He's not going to be missed by the Canucks, and allows flexibility in the lineup and/or the ability to recall other Forwards of his ilk in the interim.
I don't see any larger conspiracy here...but Vrbata...don't get me started!
Right after i call him out for intentionally throwing games he pulls out a hat trick!
I mean, come on, it's too obvious, he's practically rubbing it in our faces that he could be lighting it up on the regular, but is refusing not to.

why would he intentionally throw games? he'd be shooting himself in the foot for another nhl contract. makes no sense.

he's not russian....theyre the only ones big enough to pull that off.
Pavel Bure got threatened by them.... - SMBDragon
alright, you've got me there...he is not Russian.
new conspiracy theory for you then...Vrbata was intentionally throwing games because he himself was betting huge sums of money against the Canucks via Caribbean off-shore accounts.

The answer would be obviously money. I don't think he is throwing games . He is at the end of his career and could get a huge payout before he retires. I don't think he is doing it, but money is the obvious answer to your question of why would he

Yes. If it was not clear, i am kidding.
I do not seriously suspect that a professional ice hockey player is shooting the puck directly into the crest of goalies and trying to not score.
The fact that i am explaining the joke, clearly shows that my humour has failed.
I'll take this one on the chin.

If you laugh at your own jokes others may catch on, but I've found even then some people refuse to get humour, but that makes sense, it's a rumour site not a humour site.

I was not sure of what kind of crazy news you were getting on that side of the world.
As far as Vrbata reading what you said on here, that happens all the time here. JB uses these threads to see who he should target and trade. The media use this to start rumors. We are the see all , know all of the hockey world
