i watched a lot of west coast express highlites last night. They were the best line at the time when it came to scoring on the rush. What set them apart was their creativity in the offensive zone when clutching and grabbing was part of the defensive arsenal. i can only imagine what could have happened if Naslund wouldn't have reached for that puck in Denver to allow Moore to take him out with that vicious elbow. I honestly think they would have been in the finals against TB instead of the Flames. They would have had a healthy Naslund and a non suspended Bert. What could have been?

Lefty asked before if we should look at Mike Richards, my take is absolutely not.

I know as a fan emotions change game to game but as a fan I would like to continue on this year dumping salary , stock pile draft picks and draft high.

Even though Flames Fan was attempting a troll post he was right. It was the Sabres we beat on a back 2back game at the end of a road trip.

If we we are looking to take on new contracts then make sure it is for someone we want as part of the next 4 years.

He didn't get on the super series roster either, he is almost a ppg player in the Q this year but most the guys invited over him playing in NA are all well over a ppg.

They also have 12 invitees currently playing in the KHL against men so he likely is just too far down the depth chart.

He is still eligible to play for Russia next year but I am just surprised he got snubbed. There are soo many players who deserved an invite but didn't get one. Scary to think of what the US team COULD be if the right players got invited...

I don't know much about the russian team but by looking at the stats I think it's hard to put him before any of the guys playing in NA.

I hear what you are saying though, many guys go on to have good careers who didn't get invited to the Juniors as well though.
