What, like what happened in Alberta with Boston??
Teams are so embarrassed to lose to the Oilers/flames that they trounce us.

As for WD we have Travis Green doing a good job grooming players in Utica n knows our prospects well. He could very well be getting groomed for a promotion.
- Nighthawk

But isn't that the critique of WD from folks on here? (i'm not good with names...)
Not enough NHL experience?

Travis Green has been doing a good job, but i think if WD is let go, we'll go for someone more established.

i'd like to see some stats on coaches longevity over past 15 years when hired by a new team.
eg coaches from minors, assistant coaches to head coaches, or established coaches.

i get the feeling that assistant coach transitions are the most productive or successful.

Green is an ex NHLer n his resume keeps growing.
I only suggest he can be our next coach if we hire from within

I would have been happier if Prust just tripped Marchand, or even a gloved punch. The spear in the groin was worth much more than a $5000 fine.

Jan 21 in Boston should be fun.

I'd rather see a punch to the face than a stick In the d1ck.

I agree normally but hey, this was Marchand. Truth is I like the little rat, we could use a few guys like him. Willy looks defeated behind the bench but he can only coach and the players are just plain fringe, too many of them. Thank god we have the Sedins for maybe a couple more years. Who the heck is going to replace them??

LOL, whatever makes you feel better sport. Both teams in Alberta will win more games by accident than your boys will this year. If there wasn’t Bettman’s OT loser points you guys would have the least amount of points in the WHOLE LEAGUE! I can’t believe how easy it is to win money betting against Vancouver this year. Quite surprised on the odds that I am still getting. Even with Lowe the Oilers odds were never this favourable.

VANCOUVER 28 9 11 8 26 LOST 2

EDMONTON 28 11 15 2 24 WON 3

CALGARY 26 10 14 2 22 WON 2

I agree that we have been terrible this year, and we are trying to make it to 30 th , but you guys are just too good at sucking. You are the masters.

Give someone else a chance for once , stop being so greedy and try winning some damn games for once. They are going to change that sign to City of Chumpions .

Win damn it win.

Nucker has 6 fuken goalies . Is this pool thing a joke or what.

If GMs are allowed to protect more than 1 goalie a year after this year then someone can take my team.

I had to give up a bunch as well because I had three backups and part timer Pavelec, who went on the IR.
