Yeah not completely sold on Skinner but if we can get JVR to come play for us i think he'll be locked in and jacked up to play for a Cup contender AND with his brother. If we could somehow make that happen, i think we'd be REALLY dangerous at forward with JVR-Toews-Hossa as a new top line.

Hopefully that doesn't affect Panarin in a negative way. I know we shouldn't have to worry about that because Panarin isn't a kid - but he is going through culture shock and it seemed like Tikhonov was one of his security blankets.

Panarin-Anisimov-Kane
Garbutt-Kero-Dano
Desi-Kruger-Shaw

Keith-Seabrook
Daley-Hjalmarsson
TVR-Rozsival

I believe with this there's only one person on their offwing, and I think Hossa has a better chance at handling it than the kids. The parts of his game that are still elite (strength, 200 ft game) probably wouldn't suffer much from a change of wing, and the part of his game that has slowed (scoring/finishing) probably can't get much worse. And I think Hammer can make up for Daley's roving.

And try that for at least a handful of games

I can't remember him playing left wing in Finland. Least not in very many games. He was listed as center but played a lot in right wing. Don't have any proof right now to back me up but that's how I remember..could be wrong..like 10% chance for that
