Some of us have been calling Edler gutless for years now. I hope this year ( summer ) JB looks up the make up of this team and makes full changes.

I know many here really like Tanev , but if I was building a team I would not pay 4.5 mil for a guy that doesn't hit, fight or score. I would rather pay 1.5 for a guy like Benn or 2.5 for a guy like Dillon

It started way before Daniels hat trick. This has been going on for years. Sbisas fight in Winnipeg should have never happened. Daniels hit from Keith should have never happened. Browns attacks on Henrick should have never happened . Marchand speed bagging Daniel should have never happened.

The core of this team has been puzzies for years. Change the God damn roster and bring in some players that aren't cowards. Get rid of this European style. Yes I said it.

Benn and Dillon will both be making 4.5-5 soon enough, as they both have expiring contracts. Dillon might take a bridge but Benn is getting paid I'd bet. I'd also bet he stays a star, not too often you get to play with your brother. Dillon might take a bridge deal, but not with us. These are both pipe dreams. I do agree with your general sentiment otherwise, but there are much worse contracts than edler/tanev IMO. There's no point in moving one out unless we actually land a big fish in the offseason and thats a toss up. This team is just not good enough to win, not the two best d-men on the team's fault.

Definitely still a bubble team, they have lost a bunch of games and extra points recently but they are also coming off their toughest stretch of the schedule I believe.

A couple of weeks ago you were saying how quick this team had "rebuilt" following their strong play and I cautioned against getting to high on them and questioned if we were just seeing a hot streak.
I'll say the same thing here, we are having a tough stretch of play but IMO is not representative of this team through the season.

Unless we have a major injury to the Sedins or perhaps Miller this team will be a bubble team come playoffs.

yep. the team was below 50% on faceoffs for the game

even missing Hutton to a certain extent. He doesn't bring the sand paper but moves the puck quickly enough. We look so slow at times.

WD is overplaying the Sedins late in close games, it goes beyond regulation and they are too gassed to do anything..
