dude if the crosby line was functional this team would be set.

even when the third and fourth lines arent yielding tangible results, they arent liabilities. they can generate pressure, chew time, and at the very least not consistently get walked up and down the ice.

malkin is on fire. but even when he cools a bit i like that line's chances of remaining solid.

87s line joining the living would only make things easier via trickle down influence as well.

3 times this game ive seen sid start skating out of the zone expecting a pass.
1. cole didnt even skate to the puck and the sharks kept it in.
2. dumoulin weak poke to the blue line and out.
3. scuderi chips it off the boards to no one.

he looks so disgusted with the dman. now they start a cycle, puck goes to scuderi and he cant even take a pass... pathetic.

Dupuis looks like he's skating in cement tonight, his only strong point was that he could skate fast. Can't complain too much though we're getting bounces we never ever ever get

Pouliot not being up here to be an offensive Dman, and Maatta being hurt has crippled the HCMJ puck moving Dman system... we have Letang and... Letang. And ya know whats EXTREMELY obvious? That Letang is the main focal point of the D... other teams easily match up and mark him all game every game.

You don't have to be an offensive dman to fit MJ system... just have to skate the puck up and hit the streaking player either up the center or along the boards... not that hard...
