i love when they play the sharks. sharks are one of my favorite teams to watch. good, open, entertaining hockey from both sides.

Also, for management to go out and get guys to have 4 scoring lines.. MJ doesn't like to play that 4th line...seriously have they even been on the ice yet?

I don't want to be a pesimist, but our 4th line is legitimately playing better than the Crosby unit. If this is MJ's last ditch effort to get Crosby going, I hope his days are numbered.

The fourth is our best line right now. It's gonna be hard to justify sitting Plot now that he seems to have adjusted and developed chem with Cullen and Fehr. Which leaves the question: what do we do with Daniel Sprong?

A player can play 39 games and have it not count as one of their 7 years of service required for UFA.

9/10 games is to stay on an ELC, so they'll still need to deal with RFA/arbitration a year earlier. But they can avoid having him become a UFA at 24 by having him play less than 40 games this year.

Exactly...I think that thats the reason he is not playing at the moment (plus Plotnikov has been killing it with Fehr and Cullen). But they do have to get Sprong in every once in a while so he can keep developing.

As an aside, seriously, how great is our 4th line. Cullen >>>> better than our 4th line C's the past few years. I dont know how anyone could complain that they want Sundqvist. They cost exactly the same price.

Unless one of these guys are taking Bennett or Dupuis out of the lineup, we'd being taking a superior player out of the lineup.

I'd rather see Pouliot up here than WarSOFsky but I also think mgmt is right in giving him some time to earn it.
