Great to see the Couturier line producing. It's been a long time coming.
Monster game by Simmonds and Medvedev tonight.

Anthony Duclair is one. He's a guy that fell over character concerns. Sven Adrighetto, who is a good prospect for the Habs. Oliver Bjorkstrand, who made his pro debut this season and had 63 goals in 59 games in the WHL last year.

if jonathan bernier didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all.

Good game by the Flyers. I can't believe Medvedev sat for so long. He was fantastic. Boy they looked better with Schultz and Manning out...makes you wonder

No, not really. Only wonder is why it took so long to get Medvedev back in

Kind of makes you wonder what more does this kid need to do

Maybe it's other things within his game.

The reason why he hasn't been called up is not because he needs to do more. I gave a possible reason why they wouldn't call him up, and recent comments by Hextall seem to support that idea.

Only caught the first half of the game, but I was most impressed with them having to go with 4 and for a moment 3 defenseman. Medvedev was huge. Simmonds looked like his former self. Great win. Never want to lose a division game.

Sustain it for longer than a month. Think they want to just see more consistency and an ability to do more than be a scoring line winger

That's always been the knock on him. Very hot & cold and suspect in all zones.

I hate to say it but having Shultz injured for the majority of the game was actually advantageous to the Flyers. The Russian Olympian was able to get proper minutes and we saw how he handled himself over this weekend. Del Zotto played solid as well - scoring that goal in Nashville has helped bolster his confidence.

i don't think anyone was upset he left the game. don't want to see a guy hurt though. unless it's scott stevens.

Could be very trivial like learning English and off ice northern american routines important for pro sport

While it's not as simple as "No Schultz = Success" it's hard to overlook how bad he's been at times this season. Admittedly, he's playing a role he's not suited to, and he's not the only one who has struggled, but that's not an excuse.

It sucks that it took an injury to get him out of the lineup, but he shouldn't have been scratch proof from the get go

I think he's better suited to wing. He's a guy that should go to a power skating guru thus summer

4-2-2 since Ghost has come up to the Flyers. Hopefully that trend continues. His play has added some spark and there isnt much more that can be asked of Giroux besides to keep it up
