Just to be clear, we're not talking Colin White, the former NJ Devil, right? - jmatchett383
No.
21st overall pick by Ottawa in this year's draft. C prospect with some great offensive upside and plays a 200ft game. |

I agree with Johndewar. Something is going on with Medvedev. I don't believe he's not playing because the coach doesn't think he's good enough. I don't know what it is, but something is going on, that they don't want to talk about.
Boucher eluded to this in the last pre-game show- Steep learning curve for 33 year old in completely new structures/ environment complicated by huge language barrier. |

Maybe he still wants to play with two sticks. |

Dude played over 150 NHL games and 74 points...and maybe be the lead singer from CCR. I'd much rather have him that Brett. |

Petr Taticek - Streit2ThePoint
Yeah, he didn't do much...but at least his junior numbers make the pick legit. Lindros was picked 9th based on his last name. |

Brett Lindros managed to play 51 games and record 7 points whereas Taticek played 3 games 0 points. I'd consider Taticek to be a worst #9 overall pick than Lindros based on that. |

He posted a link showing faceoff stats for the NHL. Jack Eichel is 4th worst. I was being sarcastic and I am generally interested in seeing how long it takes him to improve |

worse #1 overall?
Patrik Stefan, 1999, Atlanta Thrashers
Doug Wickenheiser, 1980, Montreal Canadiens
Alexandre Daigle, 1993, Ottawa Senators
Rick DiPietro, 2000, New York Islanders
Gord Kluzak, 1982, Boston Bruins
and as good as the 1990 draft was, imagine being the Islanders who too Scott Scissons 6th overall. |

at least Ricci had a solid NHL career. Obviously re-drafting, Jagr would have been the #1 pick. |

Stafford gets hurt alot, no? When he's actually playing, he's a good player to have around. And yeah, guess where he went to college?
I don't know enough about DeLeo/Jostalek, to be honest.
I can almost hear Pee-air now.....
"AND NOW THE PHILADELPHIA FLYERS HAVE ACQUIRED A VERY TALENTED FORWARD IN ANDREW STAFFORD OUT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA WHERE HE PLAYED FOR FLYERS COOCH DAVE HAKSTOL. DREWS DAD GORD WAS A SHIFTY PLAYER FOR MILWAUKEE IN THE OLD IHL AND WENT TO SHATTUCK-SAINT MARYS AND PLAYED WITH ZACHARY PARISE AND SIDNEY CROSBY." - johndewar
