Also, can someone please explain why anyone would want to discuss anything with Anthony Weiner - much less advertise that they are as if it will be interesting?
Saw this guy on Maher recently. He acts as if he is still elected and actually popular in some way. If Huma wasn't Hillary's gatekeeper and geriatric cognitive interpreter Anthony would be mopping floors in the basement at Media Matters. - tredbrta
I have no interest in anything Anthony Weiner has to say. No offense to Noel intended. |

I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but, putting aside his politics, Weiner is a smart, articulate guy with the morals of a snake. For that reason, I will listen to the podcast, because he's not boring. |

too bad PIT isn't on the list, he would be a PERFECT fit...likely spots are EDM and VAN, given previous history of making deals EDM seems like a higher probability. WPG and CGY have too many D as it is. Otherwise, SJ could very much use him as well... |

There is a pod cast featuring Charlie Sheen discussing his personal hygiene regimen and NHL officiating next month. Mark your calendar.
Weiner may be articulate but he is posing as an intellectual. |

Guys, Snow doesn't have to trade Hammer bc he's under contract, it just seems Snow is trying to accommodate Hammer on his wishes, so there's no way isles will get lesser value bc of this news being leaked.... |

Guess you missed the part about Snow wanting a D man back.
It's ok. You probably thought Plotnikov was top 6 too. |

Well it's obvious he's not dumping him for dirt cheap, it's been 6 or more weeks since Travis made the request. If Snow was actually going to get boned on this it'd be over with already.
The return may not be actual fair market value for a young 2-3 defenseman that's cheap and signed long term, but it's not going to be sh!t either. |

Having a guy like Pulock to call up should help. I know he is not on Hamonic's level. |

It eases the blow in the long run, but it's still far from ideal if they want to even consider making any kind of playoff run. They need to get a quality NHL defenseman back or this is a big problem |

I agree. It will hurt for a long playoff run. Hopefully they get a quality NHL dman in the trade. |

We have no idea what we have in Pulock, probably should have gotten some games in for him considering we knew of this news since the summer. |

Had enough of the (frank)ing things, time to share. Plus I think you undervalue Hamonic and the needs of the Oilers organization. |

No question he should have been up by now and Pelech should have remained in the lineup after his solid 1st game. |

Hold on there. Why not wait to find out the reason before jumping to that conclusion? If Hamonic requested a trade due to a family member being critically ill Snow will simply take his own time? I haven't seen anything in print suggesting exactly what it is. Maybe Hamonic will reveal it tomorrow? If it is an illness then this leak may be because Snow has not moved quickly enough.
Even under contract - Hamonic could take a leave of absence... There are many ways this could become a pressured trade. |

Closer value but hamhuis hasn't been great this year and is a ufa after this year. I doubt the canucks want to move virtanen |

That is where I am at too. An agent went to Friedman/Dreger or something. If it is illness than Snow should have moved more quickly but I'll wait for word from Hamonic. |

It's not easy making a quick move for a guy like Hamonic and especially if there are only a few teams in play. It sucks that this thing leaked like the Nino situation even if it is not the same thing. |

This whole situation stinks. Hamonic is arguably our best defenseman. Would love to get Nurse from Edmonton |
