agreed - there is simply no flow to the overtimes... whereas I remember last year there was much more fluidity and a lot more passing, resulting in some great odd-man rushes. As you pointed out, holding on to the puck forever and trying to do things individually is not the way to go, particularly from an entertainment standpoint.

I just dont think the timing is right for him to get max term with the team. I didnt mind the Miller signing because it would expire as the team was on the upswing, providing flexibility as they look to add to the new core in the hunt. With Buff likely getting 5+ years, I just hope there is confidence he ages like a Pronger/Neidermayer if the Canucks are thinking of adding him to the roster
