It's difficult for me to articulate what I know, what I've been taught thru written words, I'll stick with my opinion but respect yours. - LeftCoaster
make a youtube video and post it... no writing required... you dont even have to be in the video just point your phone camera at the street or something....
this is the interweb after all... |

I am hoping 25-30, fire sale at TDL. I want to see our team win a cup, not just make playoffs and bend over for a 1st round exit. - Retinalz
Yup couldnt agree more |

I wouldn't be so angry if they had more kids playing, it's the vets that should know better or be taught better....it has nothing to do with kids. That I can live with.
But Willie keeps playing the vets and we're losing because of them... - LeftCoaster

Any fan wants them to win every game, but, understands that if they don't, the end result it a better future. Anyone who cheers for them to lose isn't a fan in the true sense of the word. - LeftCoaster

If that were true then a third of the GMs and owners would not be true fans. It is a strategy. It doesn't always work but you can't deny the results. McDavid and Eichel sure improved their clubs. They won't win cups this year but it is putting them in the right direction.
Canucks have a good group of young players. They have prospects that are close to ready.
The more we lose the more we will be willing to change. When Boeser Danko are ready it would be nice to have a player like Mathews or a top D .
Taking a step back to take three steps forward does not make you a non fan.
As much as anyone doesn't want to hear it, the best thing for this club this year is to move ALL the chore. |

I like our forward group of kids coming in, but aside from hutton and tanev, we need top D prospects bad, sure subban/pedan/that big russian look good, but it would be a stretch to say legit top 4s |

Not everyone plays fair. Call it what you want but the best strategy for Sabres Oilers Yotes last year was to tank. Owner approved GM approved.
Some could even suggest that it is more selfish the FA route, making the playoffs at all cost when you have no chance of winning. Taking the two mil in revenue instead of the higher draft pick might be looked at as self serving - VANTEL

D could be solved next year if you are willing to move vets. Our situation is really not that bad. All we need to do is be willing to let go. |

They just beat us and out worked us.
Like it or not TO has a clean slate now ( almost once Dion is gone) . They can create anyway they want. If they do get Stamkos and let go of Kessel, I would consider that a win. |

That would be fine by me. But i doubt management would actually go for that. |

It is not a hard choice. Who would you rather have Byfuglien and a draft pick or prospect from moving Edler somewhere or Edler for 4 more years? |

Were you more excited by the JV and Bo draft choices or the Gaunce , Jensen draft choices? |

Come on Vantel, this is ridiculous. Those draft picks didn't come in a vacuum. I preferred the seasons that got us the Gaunce and Jensen draft picks. I don't want the best part of my hockey season to occur during the offseason. |

I held almost no excitement for the Gaunce and Jensen picks. I had Ehlers over JV and wasn't really that impressed. I like him now as he is the type of young player we need. Bo I was pumped about. Shink I think you will also remember I was pumped about. McCann I think everyone was super surprised and excited about getting McCann that late. |

I watched him play his whole junior career in PG. Man amongst boys most of the time. Nice kid who loves his Momma. |

Draisaitl in alot of mock drafts was going to go sixth, thats what i was hoping for, after edmonton picked him i was all for JV. And agree with Shink i was so happy he dropped that far down (was listed to go 13-15) |

I had Draisaitl as #1 and still do. Edmonton got the best player in that draft. Ekblad being a close 2nd. |

Why is Horvat getting a free pass? He has 2 goals and is -7. |
