Canada joined France in air attacks today in Syria - VANTEL
I wonder if the raids were against ISIS or against Assad? The west has been giving so much help to the ISIS fronts that are on Assad's doorstep that they all share the blame in the terrorists attacks. Turkey is bombing anti ISIS Kurds that are giving it their all and making grounds and Israel is bombing Syrian troops while they fight ISIS inside an NO FLY ZONE that keeps Assad from air supporting the fight on ISIS... meanwhile the US has armed ISIS and Al-Qaeda not long ago in Iraq and Libya that all ened up in Syria.... all in the hopes of removing Assad who was the only one keeping these groups in check. The proxy war is worth war crimes charges definitely.
The UN has told the world of their findings on the alleged Syrian chemical attack a couple of years ago. It was the rebels not Assad but the west/Israel keep going on about it because these are the people they are helping beat Assad and destabilize eastern Europe with this migrant push north.
Russia put ISIS on the run in a matter of weeks. USA coalition protected and armed them while making a few useless bombing raids a day to imply they are anti ISIS. They only planned to fight the jihadist earnestly after Assad's removal and you can bet that it would be an occupation. Next USA government wants to fight Syria and Iran anyways whether it be the republicans or warmongering Hillary. One by one they remove Israel's enemies and these jihadist groups are not a priority.

Good. Hopefully this means we aren't letting in refugees/terrorists to our beautiful country. |

been saying a while now that I don't think WD is an NHL coach. - Retinalz
Me too....
Sure he's had championships at lower levels but the jump between there and NHL is huge. There's a reason AHL players have trouble coming to NHL for awhile. |

Yes they need to learn. I don't know how it's such a revelation to people... I also don't understand how we come out of a 101 point season with a rookie coach who in his sophomore season is fighting for 1st the entire season so far is not "NHL". Torts is NHL... he crashes and burns teams... like this one. AV was making Willies playoff mistakes with almost a decade of NHL head coaching experience.... you could go on and on with the names of "real" NHL coaches actually.... but at least WD is new and learning... So all in all it isnt as bad as it looks yet...
I really do think he need special teams help. That may change the outlook of our coaching abilities. They need to hire and fire a assistant or two.... and then find a couple of players who can help the PP. |

I am neutral about WD . He has an old core and a bunch of rookies. That is hard to succeed with that combo. You need a good core of 23-27 year olds . Canucks are very weak in that. |

What says it all is the West is enthusiastic allies with Saudi Arabia, who are the main backers of Sunni radical groups throughout the region. Totally incoherent and insane policy. |

Like rookie players and vet linemates... a little more experience on his bench could go a long way

I will admit I think Hansen is very good for the rooks and so is Burrows , I think everyone else should be moved.
Like I said to Lefty earlier the best thing would be to get value for the old guys including the twins , but probably won't happen |

Harper made a 15 Billion arms deal with Saudi. Saudi is the biggest funding nation of ISIS. Disgusting.

I think they may let a player or two walk but I think there will be value recovered on some.
I think it would be better for the rookies to have a better role model than Burrows even though his style is good for them. I think they could add a vet after trading him. Hansen on the other hand is a great model for young guys and carries the team sometimes even. It would be insane to trade him... the return would never be worth losing him imo.
The problem with moving all the old guys is there are too many to do all at once. Those kind of clearances seem to only happen when the future looks dismal but as we are all finding out... so many kids are stepping up that the future isnt looking bad at all. That's right, I said it,,, the kids are the ones keeping us from going clear out sale on the vets... the kids are going to keep us from the bottom as much as vets like the Sedins now... collectively that is.
Vets that wont be on the team next season are Higgins, Hamhuis, Weber and Vrbada. Adding 3 or 4 more would be too much all at once for a team that is still competitive but at least 4 is still a lot of space and room to get even younger... and then the next season expect similar.

Yep, biggest arms deal in Canadian history, to those nice guys. They used Canadian armoured personnel carriers to help crush the Arab Spring uprising in Bahrain. God forbid democracy and human rights should emerge in the region, that's the West's worst nightmare. They like it when the House of Saud is in charge, that's the best. |

But the world can clearly see how the Palestinians have held Israel hostage with their sling shots... bad call.

So I'm back on the road and missed quite an interesting night yesterday, but as I've stated in the past I always catch up...which is the case here. There is one poster that won't be around until mid Dec. and others with warnings sent, and I only warn once.
As a canucks fan, and a member of the canucks fan brethren, I've tended to give more leeway to this group. But for gawd sake stop baiting, poking, prodding or even interacting with individuals like surreyoilers, I'm not wanting to step in on our own but I certainly will. |

By Middle East we are referring to teams like Chicago and Minnesota. ISIS is just our way of saying I Skate I Score. A lot of us play hockey, so we are just bragging about our beer league games.
Red Wings are really screwing up the league by letting in so many free agents, most of them are goons who will just start fights every game. |
