Hands up everyone that thought we'd see Horvat, Virtanen, McCann, Hutton AND Shinkaruk on the #Canucks roster at the same time this season.

Feelings are not part of hockey management 101 - that's all I'm swing.

It actually sounds like something the NHLPA should be looking into. Can't be good for Corrado's development to just sit.

Corrado is rfa at the end of the season and if he sits for a good portion of it, he won't be getting much of a raise if any.

What if the Leafs release him outright at the end of the season? What will his prospects be?

I always enjoy watching the one-way rivalry that is Leafs and Canucks.

It's funny how angry Canuck fans are at the Leafs.

Should be an interesting game. Leafs have been solid at being tough to break the past few games. Though on the positive there is a good chance the Canucks get a point out of this thing

No real issues with the Canucks, so can enjoy the game no matter how it turns out.

You guys are going down against a class organization. Take notes.
- TheIronSheik

And in other random news....

So let me guess.... if the Leafs win, you will come back and gloat. If they do not win, we never see you again. Correct?

The waiver rules came into existence to protect teams from other organizations who simply try to hoard talent while not playing them. Teams could pick players off and simply sit them or hide them in the A.

Of course Toronto fans see nothing wrong with this... lets face it....

Toronto is an awful, disgusting organization that has the world's most obvious disgraceful, and fruitless, tank job sullying the Logo forever. They are grotesque in hiring a coach for an obscene amount of money. They do not care about their fans and their fans are akin to Stockholm Syndrome following this bunch of losers.

Well maybe its cuz watchin crap in prime time on Saturdays for decades has something to do with it. Leafs should buy the CBC if we gotta watch minor league hockey. In any other Pro sport stands would have empty seats everywhere. But since Ballard's days all thats changed is the money printing press moved from MLG to the ACC.

Blue Jays n Raptors at least provide entertainment for a much cheaper buck.

Since the double header and now TSN (formerly) & Sportsnet caring games it's not an issue, but it was during the 70's, 80's & 90's.

They had a decent team in the nineties and the first half of the 70's.
Montreal was just to much of a power house, the Ballard era was embarrassing.

Doesn't really matter to the people on the coast that are Canuck fans, I still wouldn't have wanted to watch them; for decades we wanted to watch our own team play but CBC had either Toronto (99%) or Montreal on.

I think that's where my dislike for the organization came from, well that and my dad hates them too

I get that CBC was just giving the massive audience what they wanted out East, doesn't mean I had to like it though.

Carol, you work for the bleacher report?

Tells me you were not part of the team that ranked the Leafs 4th amongst all teams from the 2015 draft?.

Good luck tonight everyone.

We finished 3rd.

This Corrado situation must be addressed by the NHL.

I am not a bleading heart kind of guy but they are messing with this kid in a serious way. Imagine... first being a lifelong leafs fan (and maybe for that he is getting what he deserves... but I digress) but after proudly shouting to the rooftops with his grandma by his side that he is 'home'... the house doesn't want him.

Ultimately... can you imagine being a Maple Leaf NOT GOOD ENOUGH to make the Maple Leafs???

- Beatle_john

Do you actually want a bloke called Frankie Corrado back with you?

I can't imagine he amounts to anything. I'm sure you'd get him back for a 2nd or 1st round pick.

Hmm gauntlet or practice for a comedy routine?

Anyways, sucks for Corrado that he isn't getting minutes. Shame for him to basically be sitting around (though presumably getting in practices so not like he's on vacation). But in the end it is the coach's decision on who plays. I'm not so attached to this guy that I'll challenge a top coach in the league on whether he should play or not.

I get not having a good picture of the team or organization. Kind of understandable since it's hard to see beyond your own franchise. So no worries on you getting so much wrong in this comment.

This team has been a mess no doubt. A disaster from management to coaching to players. But they are turning the corner. Have improved management, coaching, and drafting over the past year. And despite the tank comments (if you want a tank that really reflects that look over to Buffalo who traded everyone that even tried to have a good season) they are playing way better than last season. This rebuild is nothing in comparison to the mess they've been over the past decade.

So yeah, have fun being angry for some reason.
