Again, he left ahead of it so that is moot. I don't understand how you get that backwards. His absence and team switching is why he's getting it from people.

If you said he was sick of not being able to convince of all his sky is falling rhetoric... then maybe you'd have a case.

His treatment when he was still here wasnt because of his opinion... it was the repetitive way of trolling it and trying to turn every little thing into some huge chunk of negativity heaped on the pile... the other people who think Benning has screwed us down the road are getting treated like anyone else here... think about that.

It boils down to he thought he was smarter than JB. He was wrong and now too embarrassed to show his face. He wanted to puke on Sbisa and Sutter but they turned out to be good signings.

There's really nothing to think about. I witnessed Nucker spew his hatred of our current regime for months and bantered back an forth with him on the topic. We did laugh at him openly even while he was still posting here, which again is fine by me.

Nucker's a young guy and likely took it to mean more than it did. He'll come back some day and I'm sure I'll get into quite a few more exchanges with him.

I don't hold any resentment towards anybody in this situation. The guys that are pissed feel that their team was slighted, and the guy that left felt that he was slighted. Pretty simple.

To his credit he is watching all the Flyers games, or so it appears.

I wonder if he's watching the Canuck games.

So do I. They played at the same time tonight.

Since I moved to the east coast I've had a hard time watching all of them, so I choose not to comment much of the time. It's damned hard to watch a game that starts at 11PM.

Some of the stuff he was saying was pretty bizarre, Subban's feelings being hurt because he didn't get to play a preseason game, that's pretty (frank)ed up and he even eventually admitted it.

As I said, it doesn't bother me in the slightest that we were laughing at him. It's just that denying it after the fact and pretending that it's ALL on Nucker is irresponsible? Not sure if that's the right word.

So apparently the rebuild just started in Edmonton. Those first 3 #1 picks didn't count.

What a brutal game. The Canucks can't expect to play half a period and beat anyone, even the Leafs. The first 2 and a half periods were like taste testing used razor blades. Miller has been in a bit of a funk lately, but he did everything he could have tonight.

We've just spent the last five games getting schooled by teams that won't finish anywhere near the playoffs. Honestly, I don't know how the scores have been as close as they have.

HB is for having fun and passing time talking hockey or anything else, he'll come back when he's ready.

edit: ignore me if you are board of this

For me it's not resentment. I only mostly engage the people who suggest it's because of what is said about him.

Here's a sample of the things that didnt happen right away like he was so certain off...He wouldnt have a problem with what people were saying if the same bad Sbisa started off the season and Sutter was useless and the coach wouldnt play the kids and Miller choked and Prust choked and Bonio was outplaying Sutter and Mathias was showing us that he was worth keeping instead of letting walk for nothing... you see what I mean...

Nucker was satisfied with the Lack trade. Thats what he would constantly throw out there to show he is not totally one sided.

I want him to come back and would treat him different. As long as this is the way he wants to end it,,, there will be little warmth heading his way from me and thats not at all resentment. I think I'm just lacking respect at this point and that's only because there use to be a completely rational nucker here that I could have an adult converstion with. People keep forgetting that when they talk about his maturity.... I would treat him like Bloated if he was always an immature troll towards me.

Maybe you're right. I just think he probably feels this place is hostile towards him. I'm not suggesting he's an innocent, just that if he came back it wouldn't be a big deal. I'm sure a part of him wants to see Sutter and Sbisa fail for sure. I'm also pretty sure he didn't like the Lack deal, but whatever.

I stayed away for a good chunk of August/September because the banter was always the same, it gets tiring...especially when the weather is grand.

I do agree wholeheartedly that he became a much less rational poster than he was beforehand, but hopefully that's just the drugs.

always nice when the Leafs beat the Casucks, though it never seems to shut up you whiny female doges. That's unfortunate, first comment in this thread and you bunch of douchebags start ripping on Toronto. Your inferiority complex is (frank)ing hilarious

Luckily it rarely happens.

Just happy to worsen your odds of winning the draft lottery.

Watching them to try to get the puck out of their zone is a strange combination of depressing, infuriating and hilarious.

He wasnt in the camp that thought Lack was worth a 1st or early 2nd. He then mentioned a number of times that he liked the pick(Brisbois). In fact,,, it was in one of his lasts posts before he went underground.... he never swayed on it like he did with Vey where he flip flopped whether Bennings intent was a mistake or not.

edit: Bloated was putting up the fight about Lack. Maybe because they shared much of the dame opinion about Bennings moves you got the two confused. He was crying about Lack louder than anyone.

I'd lean towards they don't look as bad as most feared but I wouldn't call them good signings just yet ....in time maybe they will be good ...far too early to say

I just remember specifically arguing with Nucker on the Lack vs Miller issue. My stance was that it was Lack vs Markstrom, not vs Miller. Regardless, it really doesn't change much on wether he posts here or not.

I wouldn't go out of my way to call them good signings neither, but they haven't been the disaster that was foretold.

I remember what you are saying as well. That was a Miller issue. You can't pick Lack over Miller... you can only complain that Miller was signed.... which is what he chose to do. All along I was talking about after all that. People were poopting bricks over the 3rd. Nucker was ok with it because of who they picked with it. As am I.

I agree with this. I was always the wait and see camp because it is so early. Even today I'm including words like "yet" etc because it is too early to chant "mission accomplished". With that being said,,, Sbisa got a raise and has improved so far. Miller in both seasons has been solid for the most part... not perfect... but the whiners live in a world that is full of perfect goalies.... they just never had one here yet apparently and someone is to blame. Our coach is with the youth movement clearly. Our GM doesnt wussy foot around waiting for things to change themselves either. I see no reason for people not to have the wait and see approach at the very least.

This team may need some tweaking in the coaching department to address special teams next season. I'm expecting it to be honest. I think we could get more out of our players definitely. So I wait...
