I will give you coaching today. As soon as Miller was starting we were in trouble. WD should have known better as Miller needs a rest and Markstrom needs time in net and it was the Laffs. Markstrom better be in goal for MTL...
- LordHumungous

Miller was hardly the reason they lost, it was a (frank)in fire drill in front of him tonight, they gave up 40 shots for cryin out loud.

League wants the Leafs to finish 25th instead of 28th.

(frank) me. God love Nucks fans.

Love you guys too. Laffs fan are the mountain of entertainment we know and love.

The Canucks were terrible tonight, I 100% agree. Leafs out worked them for 90 percent of the game.
- LeftCoaster

Actually something I said to VANTEL about 12 hours go on the last thread.

Leafs are very very poop. However, they normally our work the opposition this year

Maybe so...but that still doesn't change the fact that he should not have been in net. His last 4 games have been atrocious and needed a break. The first goal was massively deflating and contributed much to the clubs poor confidence tonight.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHHHHAHAHAHAAHA. Phenomenal.

You guy's were (frank)ing terrible tonight. The Leafs lineup represents a run of the mill AHL team.

Please do not try to blame the loss on anything other than your team's ineptitude

- walshyleafsfan

An AHL line up beats an NHL team that had some terribad calls thrown at them. It was *just the Canucks play*.

Canucks didnt play very well. Leafs had help. You are the only one chirping a one sided story here. Even Lord Humongous suggested the Canucks didnt deserve the win when you quoted him. He still observed the officials intent though.

Go and ask Leaf fans how Miller usually fares against that team.

Agree the Laffs did out work them but two calls went blatantly the Leafs way. Should have been OT.
- LordHumungous

Hansen made a kicking motion, it's pretty clear. What's the other one?

You're right. I'm sorry. I was just messing.

Leafs won because of help. Just like in Dallas. Just like in Nashville.

I think the league is trying to make the Leafs make the playoffs to bring in more money for the league. And I think they may get their wish. I cannot see how a top 6 consisting of JVR, Kadri, Komarov, Bozak, Matthias and Lupul could possibly miss the post season with a little help.

I'll put money on Markstrom getting the next start. WD just said one of the next three before this one... but why would he wait? Someone filled millers blocker and trapper with sand.. he needs rest and regroup. I would be happy with Markstrom getting 1 of 3 for the season.

- LeftCoaster

The 5/3 call. It really appeared to me that the puck had hit the Laffs skate first then Hensens right skate then his left...then went through Reimer. Regardless of the kicking motion it was called a goal on the ice but reversed...but yet went off three skates?

If he earns it then by all means give it to him. However don't spot start him, give him a couple in a row so that Miller can really rest.

Agree for sure but will that happen before TDL?

Was it because it was the feature game on HNIC tonight? hard to say. But regardless IMO WD made the wrong call today with Miller.

But it's ok because we know what we get with Miller. Much like Lou he looks brilliant on some nights and well, 1-2 weak GPG on other nights. It is what it is.

It doesn't matter how many skates it went off, it went into the net from a distinct kicking motion, end of story. No excuses, they just played terrible tonight and the past few games.

My idea is the league creates parody using the officials and it's always been easy because there is never a moment in this league when there isnt some kind of grey rules that they can contradict themselves on and get away with it. And thats not mentioning how they play games with the whistle and war room. It's not about the Canucks and Leafs... it's about controlling the standings.

Stop making everything about Toronto. It seems to be some kind of brain disease with you guys... much like advanced stages of Syphilis.

Fair enough all I ask though is that they get it right. Too many inconsistencies.

Not likely. Most starters play more than that. I'm just saying it would make me happy to see JM get that many starts.

How'd the kids do tonight?

You want to see youth play then get set to experience the inconsistency.

Blaming the goalie is the easy, lazy thing to do.

You're pretty sure of that. How many games has Markstrom won at the NHL level?
