Where was Miller on the first goal though??
 - LordHumungous
I didn't see it from Miller's angle but there's traffic and they're pushing back into his net. Might not be as easy as it looks from our couches. |

I guess when they say a moment of silence they really mean a moment, that was like 3 seconds. |

It's a wrist shot from over 40 feet out. Luongo choke there. |

McCann is our leading goal scorer and Jake has been playing well. - pker2theend
Good experience for them though, and would give guys like Shink and Gaunce a chance to get some minutes |

I barely spend time in the Leafs thread anymore. The Reimer vs Bernier debate got old a year ago. Also, there's not much else to learn now that I know the Leafs have 8 of the top 5 prospects in the league. - golfingsince
Nice try mixing up the 3 of the top 2 goalies in the NHL.

I guess if they bring up shink and Guance I would entertain the idea. |

I disagree with the Leafs challenged goal simply based on the hair splitting irrellivent contact that has resulted in a number of goals being pulled back already this season... knew it would be like this... rule it one way or the other, no black and white... like everything in this league... keep a high level of grey area every season so they can safely manipulate parody without having to answer to intelligent paying fans who are few and far between. - boonerbuck
The league does what it needs to serve it's purpose. And it's purpose was for the Laffs win tonight. Hansen goal should have counted as it went off a Laffs skate first then hansens Right then left skate then through Reimers legs. The 5/3 call was total fkn horseshat. Miller may have been down but that was goalie interference. Laffs players leg was totally impeding Miller arm..but yet the goal stands. Boggles the mind how it is so inconsistent. We still have may have deserved to lose but my god get the fking calls right. |

I'm just going off of what I read.
It seems to me that Canuck fans that said they had two top 10 goalies in Luongo and Schneider weren't far off. |

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHHHHAHAHAHAAHA. Phenomenal.
You guy's were (frank)ing terrible tonight. The Leafs lineup represents a run of the mill AHL team.
Please do not try to blame the loss on anything other than your team's ineptitude |

The Canucks just look terrible lately, and I believe a lot of it is coaching. Their lack of systems play is so bad, that's why the games are so scrambly.
Well that, youth and lack of talent beyond the twins |

JV is getting more and more confidence. His game is trending upward. None of our rookies are struggling right now. Watch Shink light it up next

The Canucks were terrible tonight, I 100% agree. Leafs out worked them for 90 percent of the game. |

I will give you coaching today. As soon as Miller was starting we were in trouble. WD should have known better as Miller needs a rest and Markstrom needs time in net and it was the Laffs. Markstrom better be in goal for MTL... |

So you're sure he picked up the puck right away? This isn't your beer league in Red Deer, that's an NHL shot. He doesn't have the angles he want because the deeper players are forcing him back into his net, therefore he can't cover as much of the net as he wants.
Like I said, it's not that simple. I didn't see it from his angle, not sure how well he could see the puck.
What I did see was him bail out a team consistently from point blank range when they couldn't clear the puck nor sustain pressure at the other end. |

Agree the Laffs did out work them but two calls went blatantly the Leafs way. Should have been OT. |
