Do you think the Av's would bite on Edler now though?

I think for Duchene's speed and acoring abilities the Avs are gonna want one of Hutton McCann Horvat or JV and that just ain't gonna happen. Hey...if they bit on Edler for Duchene I would make that deal today. Much like Hamhuis, for what Edler brings us...we can get the same Dman for 1/3 the price.

Edler + ofc, we would need to send more than Edler. maybe Shink and something else? GM's in the league seem to see Edler in a different light than we do. I would also wager that on a better team, edler would be a better player than he is now playing a 2/3 role. AV's have Barrie who is a good Dman. The could see Edler as a good pair with him. Established in the NHL who still has promise.

That, IMO, wasn't a throw away, it was the price they had to pay to get rid of Kassian...well worth it if you ask me.
