I have had some pretty racey stuff said to me on the ice. I never once went crying to the powers that be. Everyone is so sensitive today and its getting a little ridiculous. I think the next tilt vs the devils Burrows should man up and take the fight. If youre gonna mouth off at least be able to back up your idiot mouth. Tootoo however needs to suck it up. The refs were there during the exchange no unsportsmanlike penalty it couldn't have been that bad.

It's the devils that Tootoo plays for, but I agree. I think Burrows was just trying not to take extra PM's in a close game but he ought to drop them early against him next time. Not often you hear guys crying about it off ice, I predict this may be Tootoo's last contract in the show

Tootoo is a goon, and he's done and said way worse things on and off the ice. Burrows fought him after a questionable hit in Nashville years ago... no way does Burrows need to fight this POS again for this.

It was actually 5 days ago. You are having a hard time at this today. Time to go back to bed.

There's worse things and there's things you shouldn't do politically as a player in the league. Refs, players- the whole shabang don't like when somebody talks about on ice stuff and Tootoo is already a fringe guy (a-la Avery) so he is done.

If Miller starts there is a good chance we will drop that game. Guy needs a rest big time.

At this point I would love to see the youth movement go further whether we win or lose.

That's cause we don't have anyone in our system to bring up, frankly Hutton was a godsend our d depth is awful. Why trade from a d-core that is winning games?

The last game we won the goalie stole. Our D core is better then I thought it would be, but it's not winning us any games.

I would be all for bringing Subban up to qb our PP with either hammer/edler as his partner.

I don't understand, if it's the d-core on the ice when we are holding teams to less than 30 shots per game against and we are third in a very tough division. Please explain.

Tootoo has a bigger fight on his hands just staying sobber.

Just posted this in the Wild thread but is probably more appropriate here.
From Sean McIndoe's ESPN column (aka DownGoesBrown) - a good Brian Burke/Trevor Linden story:

I thinks it's smart to let him mature in the A, he's pretty small and at this point probably not much different than Weber other than he's got more potential. I really like Subban, just think he could use a full year in the A personally.

I'm still wondering what it has to do with Tootoo.

Not clearing the net, stupid players in the corners. Take your pick they do a lot of things that lead to prim scoring opportunities. 2nd goal last game was 90% Edlers fault, and 10% Vrbata for not covering the point.

Burrows threatened him with castration? either that or a slumber party where they both get matching tattoos/branded? bff's

The forwards are on the ice at the same time as our d core. It's not like one is playing well and the other isn't. They are both making crucial mistakes at crucial times. And while me might be keeping teams to below thirty shots, I bet we are near the top of the league in grade A scoring chances against.

That's not a very strong case for how the d-core is performing overall on the season. It's a lot easier to pick on the one bad play than it is to notice a game where they don't make a mistake. Watch a couple leafs or oilers games and you might think a little more fondly of old edler
