I dont believe they will diminish seating by 5'...thats an entire row. Unless somehow they manage to add more seating to the balcony area.
Personally I'd support adding an amount of slots to select areas to make up for the loss of revenue. - SMBDragon
You'd be surprised what they can do today with modern engineering. I hear what you are saying but I doubt it would be an issue. Just bump up the price of the gourmet hot dogs...

Are trolling and mocking the same thing? I am sure that was mocking , not trolling. - VANTEL
It was more trocking than anything. Just honestly for the life of me, don't get this Toronto thing you guys and your blogger do. Ole Carol trying to say Mike Babcock was the first person to suggest bigger nets. Like wtf? Surely some level of research is required as a blogger? (Sans Esplen, Cloutier, Garf).
I don't get the obsession. You guys used to be good. The leafs not so much. Help me understand man. |

How does what the Canuck blogger posts become our obsession, and speaking of obsession you're the one in our thread. |

lol no doubt. Can't believe that team is still there but hey...Gary says it's ok.
It would be absolutely freaking hilarious to see Lou moved out of Florida after he fought so hard to get back there...karma baby... |

Sensitive?
People from Toronto will never understand so there is little point in wasting time that will turn into a 7 page pissing match.
Let us have our fun and stay in your own thread if you find it so offensive.
Also, Carol is the best Canuck's blogger this site has had and that says a lot after the superb jobs that both Mark Gage & Josh Plummer did here. |

Pity is often mistaken as obsession. Psych 101.
If you can find someone that is envious of a perennial tragedy then that person is insane. I don't think any fan envies a team that begins a rebuild after a decade of gross failure .
I might start looking at words like pity , empathy, mocking , instead of obsession

I like to check in on you guys. I miss the trolling we used to get in the Leafs thread. Always who's slightly less poopty Bernier or Reimer. Even Dion gets a pass now. We only get 2 Canadians fans who try and troll but they're lame. Miss Iggy, sbroads, Bloatedmosquito, Scooby and WestCoaster.
Have to come here to get most of my Leafs fill. More here than anywhere. |

I don't think pity is confused with obsession. Certainly not with people I know. Most people, I think we can agree, pity the poor souls in parts of Africa and war-torn countries around the world. Yet I never see it talked about often at all |

Losing the $20 seats at the glass and replacing them with more $4 upper deck hurts the bottom line at the end of the season. Maybe like $160 difference! |

Flyer fan coming in peace, I mean no harm......
Vancity787 told me last night that he has a lot of stuff going on right now and doesn't have time to be online much these days so I need someone to take over his team in the Canucks HB Hockey Pool for this year, and maybe beyond. PM me if you'd like the details, it's a pretty active league. Would prefer someone who has experience with hockey pools and has good knowledge of teams league-wide.
Jim Benning already declined my offer to join.
Thanks. - Nucker101

Finally, an upright and real perspective on the Frank Corrado situation. I wish the NHL would do something. I am not sure he would want back in Vancouver but the waiver rules are set so teams cannot hoard players. Corrado has yet to play a game and sent to the minors on a loop-hole under the guise of a conditioning stint. Now he is back and sits in the press box.
For goodness sakes NHL --- get this right. |

The Babcock thing was just an offhand mention of a story that got quite a bit of play a week or two ago; a sidebar to the discussion about the dip in scoring and size of goalie equipment. I didn't think it was a big deal, just a snippet of snark.
Fair warning: since the Canucks will be in Hogtown this weekend, I do plan to talk more about the Leafs over the next couple of days as I set up and review the game, like I do with every Vancouver opponent.
