Ray Ferraro vs Ryan Miller

Gonna have to agree with Ray Ferraro, there is no reason why Ryan Miller who is 162ibs is wearing XXL hockey pants.

- classic321

He's trying to hide a really bad camel toe.

Are you referring to the brave men and women who sacrificed themselves so that we could spend our time debating the minutiae of professional ice hockey, or where you left your keys?

Watched the ducks tonight against the oilers.

Wow.... Kesler looks like absolute dog-s___ this season.

I still think the guy is a beast, but he does not look like the old perennial 2 way forward.

It's pretty clear that the Sedin's have lost a step speed wise. They need someone that can get in quick on the forecheck and fish the puck out...and then wait for a tap in or one timer.
I think that's why Burrows isn't as effective of a linemate anymore...b/c he isn't as quick as he used to be.

Hansen, JV, Sutter can all play with them IMO. Does anyone know if Baer has wheels?? He's been largely invisible when i see him, but good playmaker.

I think of him more as shifty. North south average, but can change direction without losing lots of speed if that makes sense.

I think the twins and Hansen had some extra motivation to show Torts what a fool he was in the way he handled them in Vancouver. I loved the big night for that line!

Really??? The Sedin's have never had speed but they still have the best cycling and passing skills in the nhl. They are unreal players, great people and we are so lucky to have them, hopefully for a few more years. I would like to see Virtanen or Shinkaruk get a shot with them one day. As for Baerstchi I see slow but steady improvement and he is on the verge of a break through, he has skill and speed but will never be know to rock anyone with big hits. I like him too!

Fixed
No way Higgy is on the 4th line with 2 goals in 2 games.

I think you are right about Hammer tho...he is almost a bottom pairing guy now. Need to move him while he still worth a 2nd...

Kesler is over 30 years of age now and he has put his body through a lot of crashing and banging...it's starting to show.

By juice you mean he isn't doing well because none of his teammates wives want to f@ck him. Monogamy is really doing its toll on his on ice play.

I like this analysis... not sure if it's been brought up before or not... discusses how JB has made the right moves according to what players have done after leaving the Canucks...

The only reason I would disagree is that hockey pants aren't measured the same as your jeans, they are Small, Medium, Large, XL (though some brands have plus/minus lengths). I still wear the same pants from my playing days and they fit the same even though I have put on 40lbs since then. Weight doesnt dictate hockey gear size, its the dimensions of the body, mostly to do with length. Miller is within his right as a skinny lanky guy to wear the pants the way they are made, though he has money to make hipster-tight hockey pants...
