He's back in the game.
And I think that was a suspendable hit. - docmorgan
Why?
The replay shows no charging... it wasnt from behind... principle contact was body... the puck just left his stick... only in slow motion does the 4 feet it traveled amount to more than 1 sec...
No criteria at all..

Wow... hope Tanev is back right away... people will laugh but Sbisa is needed as well.

I don't think much of Corey Hirsch
But he was right about Ryan Miller there.
Still a tough save but he was way aggressive on the overtime goal, and the Camaleri goal.
Just tap-ins because he was so far out of his crease. |

Buff is a slightly more offensive version of Edler, he can be a disaster/wanderer in his own end. Two years ago he had 50 points but he was -20. - LeftCoaster
Buff is pretty solid defensively now. He's also much more physical... more versatile... tougher in mean games... is a goal scorer... and if this team sees playoffs... a serious gamer in the post season.
IMO, he a big upgrade. Scooby wont like him because he looks different and has a funny name but he would be a great replacement for Edler.

Their lack of special teams talent is what lost them that game, it should've never got to OT. |

He raised his position and the shoulder was the head from what I saw. Refs saw that too. |

Agreed. Edler is a PP killer... Tanev out, Prust out.. that pk ice time goes to guys who need energy late in the game on a back to back... and then there is Miller. He has no business even starting this game. Willy doing what so many coaches have done here in the past... push the GT harder than they need to.... our backup won in his last start... and pushing Miller can have long term set backs as well...
Not happy about the last couple of games at all.
... and these refs on this road trip have been bumholes.

As terrible of a game as it was, McCann and Hutton played really well. Both were very noticeable in a good way, hoping this continues to get rewarded with more ice time. The two of them on PP2 looked promising. Very quick puck movement and unselfish passing and throwing pucks on net, a nice change from the slow/methodical PP1 we usually see for 3/4 of the power play time |

You are wrong. It was the shoulder... after that is was not *principle*... just physics.
Raising position is not illegal. Jumping off your feet is... but again... without anything else... it is a 2 min penalty imo. It was fast and violent... so I understand the mistake.

I'm just as impressed with the quickness of his passes as his quick release everyone talks about. He snaps that pass so quick to a player that most wouldnt even read... and he does it on his way down or with players all over him... he's going to be dynamite on the PP in the future.

They were crisp, accurate and most importantly he was decisive. It was an earlier PP, but it came cross-ice to him and he one-touched it right to Hutton for the shot. Did something similar multiple times that shift, I think he needs to be the guy making the decisions with the puck, great hockey sense |

Miller has to own some of it too. If it wasn't for the posts it would have been really ugly. He shouldn't have been playing today. |

That penalty on Hamhuis was definitely the right call.
I just wished they would have called it in the Dallas game on the Tying goal on Jamie Benn.

Tootoo claiming Burrows crossed the line with some comments about Jordan's family history. I sincerely hope that's not true or I've totally lost what little respect I had left for Burr. |

If the guys tending the box can confirm he should be suspended....if true.
http://blogs.theprovince....teps-up-his-twitter-game/ - LeftCoaster
No he shouldn't. I don't like that it happened (if it did), but if every player who said something classless was suspended, the Sedins wouldn't have anyone to play against. Or with.
We expect these guys to hit and fight but we draw the line at what words they use?
If Burrows did say that shlt though, then Dorsett should have let him fight his own fight. |
