We didn't trade a second for markstrom - pker2theend
Benning traded two seconds for Baertschi and Vey, that's hardly a fail when you don't know who they'd have picked and the chances they'd be playing right now are slim.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't, at least he attempted to close the Gillis generational gap instead of doing nothing. |

I sure hope Jake didn't hurt his hand too seriously - PetrolSexual
He also took a shot on the beak after the refs got in between them.

Thats dodging the question. No one believes that a second is guaranteed top 6 player. How many 2nd round picks are players just like Bart and Vey... it's pretty common to get fringe players out of the 2nd round and no shortage of busts to add to that. - boonerbuck
I don't think either are a top 12 player |

Probably but too early. Both players have been spectacular in the AHL and are still young.

His poop was personal. If his corruption on the ice was as instructed... he would still have a job. His calls were for his own issues.

It was a gamble that they could afford. JB has done well in his two drafts... so there's not much to look back and dwell on imo.

Vey is a fail. Should NEVER have traded Garrison for a second that was used for Vey. I was against that move from the start.
I was calling for bieksa to be moved if anyone. |

If we can move Edler, how would you guys like to have Dustin Byfuglien on our team instead moving forward?
I'm a big fan of the fat bastard myself.
Edler and Vrbada and a 2nd for Dustin Byfuglien and their 1st ...providing we can get an agreement to resign?
They get more scoring for the playoffs and Edler still has a contract beyond Thyfuglien. |

They traded Garrison to free up cap space to acquire a bonifide starting goaltender, which the veteran leadership asked for....Benning tried to kill two birds with one stone, get a goaltender and acquire a more ready prospect.
In hindsight it was a good move. |

I would have Big Buff on this team before anyone could shat sideways if I could. And I would give up Hammer and Edler to get him.
WPG would be retarded to move Big Buff tho as the Peg looks to be a bonafide playoff team now. |

Buff is a slightly more offensive version of Edler, he can be a disaster/wanderer in his own end. Two years ago he had 50 points but he was -20. |

Ha,,, you cant applaud Sven and call Vey a fail for the same poop. Funny.... Vey has proven more than Sven... scored on 4 lines,,, on the PP....
Still waiting for Sven to catch up to the failing Vey to be honest. Thats doesnt say much... but let's be real here.

I'd love for Jake to score twice on this PP and go up to Farnham and say "that one's for you" |
