Would've helped having Ennis in the lineup.

I can't say I watched the game as I was stuck at work and doing the husband duties of shopping after but I watched the highlights on the Sabres app.

First thing I noticed Johnsons rebound control or lack there of it more like needs help ASAP. He gave them 2 goals at least.

Second thing I noticed is Weber. Enough said.

Third thing is ROR is really really good.

Fourth thing is 53 freaking shots on goal? Last year that could have taken 3 games to get.

Did I miss anything?

well, Bylsma obviously realizes that Weber isn't that great, because he had the least ice time of the 6 Dmen. I hate that Pysyk has been saddled with the garbage extra guys we have the last 2 games.

I want Bogo in the lineup. Put him with Pysyk. Move Pysyk to the left. Leave Risto and Gorges together as they seem to be doing well together.

Shot attempts in the third:
Penguins 8
Sabres: 37

For the game:
Penguins: 44
Sabres: 83

Tomorrow's hockeyviz chart for this game is going to be hysterical.

Weber needs to go on waivers when/if Bogo comes back.

Bylsma made it sound as if we could get Bogo back in the near future. Maybe by next week is my hope.

At this point I think their best bet is to just shift Pysyk to the left because there'll be too many righties and Pysyk is the only one that seems to play well on either side.

I was down by like 70 going into tonight's games. Cut my opponents lead down to 6.

Anyone know why Drouin didn't play tonight? Is he hurt?

If we could do that Ennis for Flower trade it would help us out so much

Weber has been pretty decent this year. If they send anyone down it should be Colaiacovo, dude is a pylon.

I have him too, but so does my opponent so it doesn't help me any.

MacKinnon had a killer night though so that helped!

Not sure what you've been seeing cut Coli brings more to the table than Weber

Colaiacovo does have a good shot, I'll give him that. But not much else. Weber is younger, faster (not saying much lol), better defensively, and more physical. I take Weber 9 times out of 10. And that's not even taking Carlo's injury history into account.

That's the part where you realize that Edmonton's stockpile of young talent becomes overwhelming. It's conceivable that we have much more entertaining hockey to watch this year and finish bottom five and potentially win the lottery.

Yeah...I say we switch with Pittsburgh and join the AFC North. I'll take my chances with Cincy and Baltimore.

Also, Kinda surprised, no mention of the Pens throw backs on the board. That I saw anyway. I like'em. I like the old-school bright colors than this new washed out stuff. "Hey! I have an idea! Let's add gray to everything!" I like the bright blue of the 70's-early 90's Sabres.

The Oil

The Kings

The BlackHawks are the best jerseys today.

But the best jerseys of all time are... Drumroll please.
