It's not an argument is a fact.

Go follow any other teams beat writer(s) and you'll be shocked to find that they don't scream, cry, and throw around accusations about the teams they cover. They report what happens.

It's like getting upset at your toaster because it won't cook a steak.

I mentioned this in an earlier post don't know if you missed it? I also mentioned that there was a flock of gay geese flying over seaford the other night.

Gay geese? Better tell MDW, he's been hunting those for years. He's bagged so many.

Capuano has to be ecstatic about this. He gets to play his boy all the time now. Instantly have less interest in watching games knowing this.

I hunted Saturday, saw ducks, swans, cormorants, and a (frank)-ton of brant. No (frank)ing geese though. Go figure, I saw everything that I can't shoot yet (or ever).

I was drinking beers in my buddy's back yard on the water in seaford. Three flocks of geese went over my head. Had swans, ducks, brant, few commorants, you name it back there. Like I said they were gay so you would have been shooting blanks in no time.

Guess I should have gone further west. My buddy owns an oyster farm by the Robert Moses bridge and was heading there for a few hours so he dropped me on a random island. He kept texting me from the other side of the bridge saying there were geese flying over him, but I think they were going to feed on the grass at the pencil tower by the beach.

Oh well, the October split for the Western zone is over now. It's seaducks only until regular season starts on Thanksgiving and I don't have a boat...so looks like I'm waiting

Yeah. Ate his words after throwing it in fans faces for even questioning the genius that is behind the bench. Where is that arrogant, sarcastic wit now?

Just makes you shake your head when you read poop like that.

Is there a reason they aren't giving RP a chance? Has he sucked at The Bridge defensively? I haven't been to a game so I can't comment however he skates well and in preseason I thought he played well defensively, was in the play and didn't seem a step behind or over whelmed. He is more than ready offensively. I just Don't get it.

Not sure honestly maybe he's not ready I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but I do know that our coach is a big fan of Brian Strait.

Bc (I think) when he comes up, he's here to stay n play. Right now we have a merry-go-round of dmen w/1-way contracts.

My guess is that they would prefer him playing top-pair minutes in Bridgeport rather than 12min/gm here.

That's Crappy's female dog

Just a quick look at The ST's website, Pulock is -2 and the only Dman that actually is a minus. Mayfield leads them at +7 in that stat. Don't know if that gives us a answer as far as his true defensive play but I found that interesting.

Im hoping to see a ST game in November.

RP could be paired with Travis and let deHaan & Strait take the lesser minutes.

Didnt say they have to scream or yell or critique everything. A relevant question to the coach once in a while isnt asking too much instead of only being a propoganda mouthpiece for the club.

PS - I dont have the time or desire to follow other clubs writers and analyize their content. This team is exhausting enough, trying to understand what they do and why.

who is Joe Whitney and Bracken Kearns. Joe Whitney is the AHL's leading scorer. He sounds like the new Jeff Tambellini.

Cappy must be thrill to have lost Hickey, His boy Strait is mainstay now for month.

It doesn't matter what Staple, or anyone, asks the coach, players, GM, owner, or anyone else. These guys are coached on how to deal with the media without giving anything away or saying anything that could be controversial. Staple could ask all the hard-hitting questions in the world and he's never going to get an answer of substance ever.

He is just a mouthpiece for the club, mostly. He reports what he sees and is told. There generally isn't a whole lot of his opinion in the things he writes and tweets and when there is, most of the time he's basing it off the things that he's told by whoever he speaks with inside the club. His job isn't very complicated, I won't argue that.

Well...if we're going off what has been the game-plan so far this season...Hamonic and Pulock are both RHD, so that wouldn't fly with Coach Flinstone.

Quick question about Saturday night's game. On the goal that was waived off for the Blues because the whistle blew clearly before it was even shot into the net, did Greiss have it covered and it was knocked free or did the ref just lose sight of it?

We attended the game and the jumbotron sucks and of course nhl on the fly, etc. didn't show that as a highlight. It was at the other end of the rink from us.

The save Greiss made on Tank's deflection was insanely good.

He definitely had it covered with his glove. I forget who it was (Jaskin maybe?) took a real hard stab at it with his stick and knocked it loose for Pieterangelo to tap it in, but it was definitely covered up. The refs got that one right.

Thanks.

Bad news about Hickey. I don't remember a play where I thought he got hurt though he did seem to take a number of non-feet moving penalties. Maybe the injury was there prior to those and contributed to them.

If I remember correctly, I think he took a shot off a leg/ankle/foot...but I might be very wrong. It's crazy how much he's been hurt this year considering he's only missed 1 game in the prior two years and about 8 in the 3 years he's been with the Isles.

It sucks, but it hopefully shouldn't have too much of an impact on the team. But I guess you never know.
