Who would you swap around? I do not think Simmonds and Schenn have ever really been an effective combination. Too similar. I'm ok swapping Umberger and Read, but that's not what you're suggesting, is it? - TheGreat28
I'd try to pry Sonny Milano from Columbus. If I remember some posters are not big fans, and he has his pros and cons. But we could put him at LW, and he's got the speed and hands to really add value here. - TheGreat28
Could you do hagg for Milano? Both teams get younger players at areas of need.
I agree, switch 12 with 20 to get a spark or something - Chris48
Maybe throw Simmonds there. He seems to be trying to do too much with the puck. Simplify and dig pucks and get to the net. Raffl with laughton and read would have speed to use on offense and still be a good defensive lineline.

They tried Simmonds on the left wing, that experience didn't last long.

Unless they switch Voracek and Simmer, don't remember if the Flyers ever tried that combo putting Jakub on the left wing:
Does anybody know what Mason's personal issues were? - Vukota
Actually, I think it's a credit to most people here that there hasn't been endless speculation on what it may be. Everything is generally fair game on HB, but it shows the respect for the player and the decency of the posters to give him his privacy.
I've read a couple of people on twitter ripping the beat writers, but I think they've also shown remarkable restraint as well.

Yes, but he doesn't want to discuss it publicly and all of us around the team in any way are respecting it. Suffice to say it was an emotionally wrenching family issue and that the support of the team environment and getting back playing hockey again is a catharsis in coping.
