and i understand, my comment wasnt directed at the kane case. it was to point out that a lot of rapes happen but the person isnt charged because there isnt enough evidence. he isnt innocent, just not guilty. sorry if i didnt make that point clear. - SuperHenderson13
Rape is one of the hardest things to prove. Sex is easy to prove, lack of consent is another. |

"Alright so, check this out, gents. We wait for the entire police force to inexplicably leave the entire city to itself to go into the sewers. Then, we detonate a bunch of bombs during a football game, hoping that said entire police force will be located directly under the stadium at the opening kickoff. Does this mask make my voice sound weird? I just hope that Batman can't recover from a broken back and escape from a pit in some remote place and travel to Gotham City with no money in less than 30 days."" - jmatchett383

you guys are kicking ass so far.
the whole team has looked pretty solid. - stayinthefnnet
The Flyers? Aside from that Florida debacle, they've played well. They're actually playing like a team where all of the players are on the same page. It's rather refreshing. |

I don't think ownership was ever going to pay what he was going to get from TOR or BUF. And I doubt they would have fired Johnston to get him. I agree that the Pens organization needs to be more ruthlessly efficient to be successful. Self-inflicted stupidity like refusing to buy out Scuderi and then keeping him in the lineup when he clearly isn't an NHL player anymore is unforgivable. - jfkst1
If that's true then I have no idea why they feel comfortable paying Kessel.
If that's true, then I think they should've sold the team already. Does the salary cap on players, but there's no salary cap on coaching. The best in the business costs the most and it looks like the Penguins stuck to coach cuckold to make them feel better about themselves. |

no question. thankfully, at my college we never had an incident in my 4 years. i was on a student discipline board that could've decided punishment for someone, so i'm obviously glad it never came to that.
i just think people dont always remember that there's a big difference between rape and just being a scumbag. |

Brilliant coaching move to replace Chris Kunitz on the first PP unit with Evgeny Malkin. It's shocking that this is somehow being praised in the media. |

They had the media convinced splitting them up was the answer... and on paper with our talent, seemed more than plausible that it'd work. Real results said otherwise, but meh. |

I don't think they are willing to spend much more over the cap. At the very least I know a Babcock coached team would get a good effort out of the players. Not sure I can say the same for Johnston. |

They didn't fool the author of this blog.
I wonder which players like having 2 units. Could it be players who don't belong in #1 power play units? |

If Babcock was the coach, I don't think a few things would have happened.
If you remember correctly, Coach Johnson female doged about having a cluster of late preseason games and not enough practice time with his full roster. He then proceeded to waste everybody's time by splitting up the power play and wasting practice time on two units, neither of which will exist beyond the quarter point of the season.
Coach Babcock would have zone entry schemes that don't mostly rely on a risky pass to a forward standing still at the offensive blue line who, if the pass connects, is now 1 on 3 and against the boards. |

Johnston deserves plenty of criticism for his decisions. If he doesn't turn things around quickly, they should find someone else that can because there's no way this is an acceptable effort and performance from this roster. |

To be fair, if Johnston's system was ran properly, aren't those types of offensive zone entries exactly the kind we're trying to avoid beyond the dump and chase? Isn't that the more Bylsmanian stretch pass? |

You're lucky. At ND we had a sickening amount of sexual battery reports on a yearly basis and probably about one full fledged rape allegation a year. It's a truly sad world we live in... There's no room for rapists in society. There's no room for people who make light of it by claiming rape when none occurred either. |

I have a 2-year-old daughter, and seemingly every other day or so, I read about how some young girl is either kidnapped or sexually mistreated somewhere in the world. It honestly upsets me. There are so many truly terrible, heartless people in the world. |
