So how did Mr. Glass look before the injury?
- jochfr

I thought he looked pretty good. Seemed to be tracking the puck well. Seemed pretty calm back there and wasn't fighting the puck. He didn't even get a chance to settle in before Weber allowed Turris to come straight down the ice and then screened him for the goal 30 seconds in.

I'm waiting on the day when Weber will just turn around and shoot on his own goal....

That is true I'll tell you what if he goes scoreless next game I'll change it I just don't want to jinx things I believe he had a point in every single preseason game he's played so far plus an NHL game so.......

I find it hard to grasp the concept that your changing of your team will effect the time continuum and throw the balance of nature into a tizzy.

if he saw the puck he was easily saving it.. that goal was fully webers fault, imo

It was 100% typical Weber play. Let the guy come in and then screen the goalie while attempting to and unsuccessfully block the shot.

a few plays later.. i think it was carlo. he had a chance to pull a weber and screen the goalie for a 10% chance at blocking the shot but instead he just stuck his stick out to distract and let lehner see the puck. and guess what, lehner made the save easily. i wish weber would take notes

With the investment TM put into roster do they trust Johnson and Makarov? Not quite sure they would or will. Will depend on how long RL is going to be out, if a long term injury I can't see us standing pat with that combo.
- bflodukes

They shouldn't. I guess it depends on how long lehner will be out but I'd look to Calgary for a trade.

I'm not too worried. I think we see a better team from here on out. They really played great after the Eichel goal. I think Johnson held his own last night, but we still may need a goalie.

I hate that I'm even saying this right now, but when you're at the game, it actually works. I'm not a fan in general, but I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would.

I'll take your word for it but, the OffSpring would have been a better choice IMO.

i think a big part of johnson doing alright was the better play of the players in front of him.. that goal really loosened them up
