outside of lecavalier, gomez, gagne and tanguay, was there really anyone better? i think a guy who avg. 19G and 27A is a pretty decent pick from that draft at that spot. For the amount you female dog about him you'd think he was brandon convery.

So here's the hilarious part: if I recall correctly, the Leafs had traded down, or maybe botched a chance to trade up - but I do remember that the Leafs' draft position was unsettled.

And for a reason I can't remember, I really wanted Mark Bell.
