Well...Hanifin was ranked ahead of him...but leave it up to the Leafs and their bias. A player that was compared to Drew Doughty....said to have been the #1 in this draft if McDavid weren't in the draft...don't know why we didn't select him over Marner.


...If you ask me, Marner really was not impressive at all...certainly didn't look like a 4th overall. At the same age, same first preseason....Kadri, Nylander, and even Schenn all looked better...
